Is it just RNGesus at work again or is there something going on with Dire Frenzy?? The last few hunters I’ve played against who are using this card seem to draw the buffed beast immediately WITHOUT having to play master’s call or a similar card that will allow them to select a beast from their deck… and this is early-ish in the game when the number of cards still in their deck is sufficient that it’s totally weird that they keep drawing the buffed beasts straight away. Or am I missing something?
Were they right after another? 3 in a row?
Cuz I’ve had it happen to me once when I was playing Hunter. Sadly I couldn’t make use of the beasts at the time I drew them, they actually lost me the game.
Not all 3 copies on successive turns but definitely a copy on the turn immediately after using dire frenzy… I’ve played 3 hunters in succession earlier today who on the turn immediately after playing dire frenzy drew a copy of the buffed beast (without having to use master’s call or similar)… could be a coincidence but it seems strange!
Having played several games with Dire Frenzy, I can for certain say that you do not automatically get a shuffled Beast as your next draw.
However, people are more likely to pay attention to things when they go against them, as opposed to when things work out just fine. Especially if they’ve already noted similar instances of things going against them.
Yep, that’s absolutely true. So an unlucky (for me) coincidence then!
While I do agree with this to some extent the ‘bad rng’ in this game does seem to occur more often than not. Hunters I play against do regularly top deck their most dangerous cards…lynx and hyena combos, dire frenzy…that kind of thing, while I regulary go 5-6 turns without seeing a dragon drawn from my deck even though nearly half my deck is dragons.
I’m not suggesting the ‘rng’ in this game is fixed, that would be stupid, it’s just bad luck. But I doo seem to get more regular strings of bad luck than good so I can see where people can get these ideas from
