Disappointing Troubled Game

The game is in a terrible state. Expensive, boring, buggy, and stale. I would not recommend this game to anyone until Blizzard has fixed issues with the experience.

You thought about just not playing it?
If I found something “Expensive, boring, buggy, and stale” i would just uninstall and not cry on public forum.

You may of missed something people are quitting and the down time on game play around the world is falling for Hearthstone. Unless your fine with that, people are just pointing out bugs etc. Many streamers which were friendly to Hearthstone have turned Hostile. The world Championship may not even take place if I hear the rumours are true about players not bothering unless bugs etc fixed. s I said in alot of posts Hearthstone is not a in a good spot. The Team is split and many are voicing their concerns privately.

Do you have any examples of those privately voiced concerns? I know you said “privately”, but I guess it would be interesting to know some behind-the-scenes info

Nah, some players are under the illusion that decisions made in giant companies are discussed outside the board room. They are not

Yes it, will, because professional players need to make a living

Name them

I agree sadly. Since the new expansion I have been playing less. A game should be enjoyable but Hearthstone just seems like a chore right now with very little rewards.

You only have to look at other Hearthstone forums and Reddit to see just how many Hearthstone players are disgruntled of late. Under the current circumstances people have a right to complain.

ZeddyHearthstone has some contstructive criticism towards the state of the game, to name one. But you dont need any of additional info to see that hearthstone quality is steadily declining.

How many 100% satisfied players are there do you think?

I would say I sit at about 60% satisfied at the moment. At the expansion launch I was really unhappy. I’d spent a considerable amount of money, not hit many legendary cards on my packs, realised what a chore earning gold had become so I was really derailed.

I also got sucked into a lot of the negativity which is easy given all the hate at the moment.

I am enjoying playing at the moment and have all the cards I need barring some Druid legendary and 1 priest legendary but I’ll get them eventually.

I am worried for the state of the game as so much public negativity is not good for a game. There are lots of negative reviews on the apple and google store which may put new players off so that will stop growth of the game.

I am worried that Blizzard don’t seem to care about making a public statement to say something to address people’s concerns.

I am worried about the cost of the game, I can afford to pay what they release but it’s not worth it. Over £100 per expansion is not worth it for this game. No game is worth this much money a year.

That’s my concern is that I want to play but I don’t want to pay all the money they are expecting us to pay and I like to play multiple decks and experiment with lots of decks so F2P is not an option. I need access to all the cards or as many as possible.

Well, I guess not 100%, but I am quite happy playing the game - well, when ignoring lose-streaks of course
Blizzard should start communicating, that is my only complaint, but I guess that it is too late and players have killed the game already with their negativity

Deep deep down, I mean really deep, so deep it can only be seen with the Hubble telescope I believe blizzard are working on some great plan to deliver and pacify all the negativity.

I am still excited about hubble when it gets launched, a year later we will get the first results

Anyway this is a pretty good youtube channel on space by a PHD in theoritical physicist ( specialty, exo-planets ) but he has many diverse subjects on this channel from cool worlds.

I love stuff like this. I’ll watch that later.

My favourite ones are the Brian Cox series. Wonders of the Solar System & Wonders of the Universe. He explains things in an understandable language so it’s easy to follow.

The channel i linked also explains it quite well like brian does so it can be easily understood.
