I’ve been playing since the beta, I’ve seen how the game has only been declining to the point that sometimes in arena it’s better to give up before starting to play the deck. It doesn’t make any sense that the Discover mechanic is in Arena mode, what sense does it make that there are classes that obviously benefit infinitely more than the others to the point that they can play you 4 legendaries because “Oh it came out in a Discover” and you only 1 because you don’t get any cards with reveal. That just because of a mechanic you can play even 40 cards in a format in which you pick 30 to create the deck. This generates an obvious disadvantage, I’m not talking about constructed because at the end of the day you can make decks of different archetypes… but in the arena? It’s a joke to play again after 2 years and have a rogue or a mage play me 8 cards that were not in the deck and that 80% of them benefit them abusively. I love the game in fact I left MtG for it and competed in every tournament I could nationally, but these things just ruin the game . I don’t believe that the technical team has not been able to create another type of mechanics to replace it or that they have not thought about removing it since it came out in 2015.
Arena has never been harder than it is currently.
I agree that there’s too much Discover high-rolling going on.
It feels often that the match is decided by whoever has discovered the highest value cards.
Matches are no longer about tempo, but about combo/value.
The power level of cards has never been this high, and the addition of the Duel Treasures only exacerbates this.
Warlocks are strongest, followed by Shamans , Rogues, and Hunters.
