Do you keep Legendary cards?

Do you keep all Legendary cards that you unearth or do you trade them asap if you think you’ll never use them?

Keep all of my cards, dust only duplicates

the dust you gain from braking cards is just bad deal

many members here, as you’ve noticed come out crying after few cycles of dusting their entire collections to craft a fotm deck, when it looses viability and they realize that many of the cards, they needed for the other fotm, were in the batched they trowed away

I have an effing Harbinger Celestia
I’m like a hoarder

I keep all mine, but there’s nothing wrong with dusting something that you don’t use/is bad/boring/you see no potential if you have the intention of crafting something. A great example would be Harbinger Celestia. Yeah I still have my copy but if I was 400 dust short of something I wanted, I’d have no issues melting her down.

People above me gave the one solid advice: keep the cards and don’t dust just because you don’t use them now. The keyword here is now. Early on I dusted a lot of cards. Turns out that was bad because later I had to dust other cards to get the cards I dusted before. It’s just freaking expensive.

I vouch for that advice but want to add two caveats:

  1. If you pick a golden that you will not use, dust it. This is especially good for legendaries since you are basically “trading” one golden for one non-golden.
  2. If you find yourself missing a couple of cards in a deck you want to build, it is far better to ask here in the forum (or a friend you trust) which cards would be good to substitute the ones you’re missing. Sometimes you’ll hear that’s a central card, but others you’ll have some advice on how to use a different card, the pros and cons of such a swap.

I sometimes dust legendaries if there are other cards I am going to craft immediately afterwards. For example, during the Whispers of the Old Gods days I unpacked a golden Onyxia and dusted it to craft Yogg-Saron. Still don’t regret it

I keep anything above “has a potential” or “maybe in the future?”

A good example would be Bwonsamdi especially now since they are clueless about what to do with priests.

I dust everything “this should have been an epic or a rare”. The Glass Knight for instance.

I use The Glass Knight in my healpocolypse deck. Pretty niche but fun enough for me :grimacing:

can you post your list somewhere? I got all the paladin legendaries cards for healing and I can’t find a list worth trying out

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

There’s quite a few flex spots to play around with. I don’t have Wickerflame and Nozari is overkill. The simple idea is against aggro you heal through their damage and kill them with your bigger minions/weapon hits. Against control you beat them with the Apocalypse. Mid-range is usually the most interesting as you need to work out which way gives you the best shot of winning.
