Druid Card - "Fandral Staghelm" - Query

Considering that druids now have a Quest that lets them get so much value out of their “Choose One” cards, this actually sort of puts Fandral in a very … awkward position … not only is he now utterly useless in comparison to the quest, he also doesn’t even remotely fit into any decks at all, as choosing him over the quest is rather, absurd, considering you get more value having the quest active with other cards such as 2 mana draw a card and then completing it, then you do just simply holding a Fandral in your hand, hes not a good 4 drop either now.

I honestly really liked him as a card, but the new quest has actively killed him, yeah yeah, hes in wild who cares, well i do!

The only value he has now is 400 dust, that’s it, there is never a reason to craft him over choosing the quest, and there is no reason to even keep him instead of just, dusting him, he needs a rework and badly.

I’ve thought of a few ideas to try and keep him balanced whilst allowing for more, creative ways to keep him in the forefront of peoples mind instead of just utterly ignoring him, and they go as follows:

Fandral Staghelm moved to Classic set.

Your “Choose One” cards for the rest of the game cost (2) less.

Battlecry: Add a copy of all “Choose One” cards you played last turn to your hand.

Your “Choose One” cards this turn trigger twice.

At the end of your turn your “Choose One” cards in your hand are reduced by (1)

Rush. Battlecry: Gain +1/+1 for each “Choose One” card in your hand.

Battlecry: If you’re holding a “Choose One” card silence a random enemy minion, if you’re holding (2) or more, destroy the silenced minion.

Summon a “World Tree” for each “Choose One” cards in your hand.
World Tree - 1 mana 1/1
At the end of your turn heal friendly characters for (1) health, hero gains (1) armour for each active “World Tree”

Just a few ideas i thought i would throw out there, i doubt anything will be changed for this card, but it’s fun to still think about old cards, especially ones that were made completely and utterly useless when the quest rolled out.

Any more ideas or reasons why you think i’m wrong in saying he needs a rework? Feel free to contribute

he can be used in more proactive decks or ones that don’t want to commit to the quest, maybe Death Knight ones or ones that need it for a combo turn like jade druid does, malfurion makes fendral better than the quest in certain classes, again, why this is the best hero card

Oh yeah the Druid hero but that’s about the only deck he might see play then … “might”, i still think he needs a rework,as even in a druid hero deck, hes not that valued to be honest and in all fairness, still going quest even if you do go druid hero is still a better option as you’ll get far more value out of the quest then putting Fandral into your deck, infact, going quest can sort of put the druid hero to shame, but atleast the druid hero still has value and can be used effectively.

Playing quest turn 1 and playing to activate it is just, miles above anything a “Fandral druid hero” deck would and could offer, even if late game you replace the quest hero power with the Druid Hero one.
