I know that we get dust refunds as well as getting to keep the cards for HoF, and you can disenchant cards for the full value when cards are nerfed. But I would prefer that we get the HoF treatment for nerfs. The reasons for this are:
- The game is too expensive. This would help.
- When cards are nerfed all the other cards that make up decks with the nerfed cards in them essentially get nerfed as well. Some compensation would be nice.
What do you guys think? I would be interested in hearing people’s opinions.
I (and many others) would abuse such a system. I have enough dust stockpiled (thanks previous nerfs) to craft all nerfed cards in gold. Then they nerf the cards and I would get to keep the golden cards and get my dust back. That would be 3 free golden legendaries with these nerfs.
Secondly, for rares and commons, the current system often nets you more dust.
I like this but I don’t think this could happen, if they failed with a nerf people would still have the cards and it would show more than now, since now they do fail sometimes but really but people no longer have the cards and so it doesn’t show
They won’t even let us to DE old Legendary gifts from the old expansions. Yet we can actually DE new legendary quests that were given away in this expansion. Come on Blizzard, Make your choice and stick to it. Just lemme DE Marin! Please! Even seeing it in the corner of the collection makes me sick. Goddangit!
It’s the difference between giving everyone the same card (Marin/C’Thun) and giving everyone a random Death Knight/Quest

Yeah, But still… What’s the point of forcing people to keep them? Jut let people choose. Is 800 dust that precious for them to keep away from people who don’t use those cards? Also C’Thun technically came from a pack so…

I’m assuming they were given out to incentivize people to use them. letting them disenchant those cards for dust is an incentive in the opposite direction. I suppose letting them disenchant those cards for nothing would be a solution for people who just wanna get rid of those cards, but knowing HS players, this’d cause a sh!tstorm.
No, he didn’t. We received him after we opened our first old gods pack. he didn’t come in that pack.
I agree with you on the ‘make a decision and stick to it’ part though, albeit just for the one card that breaks the pattern: vargoth. he’s disenchantable, but wasn’t given randomly.

Well, Ah… Just pains to see free dust in my collection but can’t take advantage of it.
Look at it this way: you can’t dust it, so it actually isn’t free dust! You are no longer seeing free dust now. You’re welcome.
