So, anyone thinking Elementals might be added to Battlegrounds in the future? With Ragnaros returning as a hero, with a new Hero Power? And some elementals could Overload your gold, like with the Mana Crystals, but, at the same time, the Elementals have a decent chance in early, mid, and lategame!

I’m absolutely sure they will be added.
Of course at the beginning they would not use all the tribes, so that managing the game will result easier and see how the public responds to it. At that point it’s quite obvious that the only way to introduce something totally new is adding tribes, such as it happened with Pirates.
Adding/removing minions, adding/removing/changing heroes, and all these things do not make the game “new” or refresh it. Therefore it’s quite logical that Blizzard will introduce not only Elementals but even Totems. Considering Pirates are relatively new, probably we’ll see a new tribe next year.
But yeah, i’d love to see new tribes, Elementals included, into the game. The Overload mechanic i see it too difficult to manage/balance, but it is possible. Sort of giving some strong minions early, but they give you debt that makes you unable to buy as much the next turn. The easy root will be not trying anything, so i’m not sure Overload will be introduced to the game, even if i think it could work.
New hero power for Ragnaros don’t think so, he’s so iconic and i believe he’ll keep what he had. It wasn’t bad for what i remember, i played him with pleasure. Maybe buff it? Not sure, but don’t believe Blizzard would change it.
