Faceless Manipulator

I’m honestly surprised that i don’t see a lot of people running at least 1xFaceless Manipulator in their decks. The card is super good, both offensively and defensively in my opinion.

Offensively, I’ve often used my Faceless to copy a highly magnetized Mech Egg, often times resulting in my opponents just surrendering.

Defensively for example, I’ve used it to copy a Mech Hunter’s heavily magnetized Mech Whelp, combine it with zilliax, and then kill his. Feels super good lol. I’ve also used it in several other matchups, mainly Priest, Shaman and Mage.

Anyone else think so?

Faceless used to be in a lot of decks as an offensive card. Started seeing less and less play in favor of cards that were less situational (or more synergized)

Damn…so its just me running it huh? Well its too good in mech paladins to replace.

Typically it’s just too slow because it requires some set up but I can see it as a tech choice in mech Paly, just terrible against aggro i.e. the games it’s good, you were already going to win or could have won easier by having a more flexible option.

Not if you’re not winning. That card has been the sole reason i’ve made a comeback in certain games.

Ok I’ll indulge, how? “waits for the irony”

more a situational comback like copying your oppenents buffed up beryllium nullifier to prevent lethal.

off topic, the bakery in my street is bankrupt , my fridge is now full of frozen pies bread cookies !!

Paladins and hunters are rare on the ladder. Teching against their lategame doesn’t make much sense (not to mention, very few hunters make big minions). Copying mage big minions won’t win you anything - he’ll just make more for 3 mana next turn, while you spent 6 to copy just 1.
There is nothing to copy against zoolock, murlocshaman, rogue or warrior - it’s a dead card in hand against them.

At 5 mana, that card only works well in control decks that have a very big minion as win condition (e.g., it could also work in prelate paladin).

Out of currently played decks, it’s used in Lucentbark heal druid (to make the 2nd lucentbark, from which you can go to 4 barks with sprayer) and sometimes in egg paladin.

Overall, you would only add that card if you have your own big sticky minions to copy. It’s not a good tech card.
