How can this stupid minion attack even when frozen? Another absolutely illogical thing in this game that I am fed up with.
And why does silence break freeze?
It seems that I do not understand this game at all.

Hmm I’m surprised that she can although the exact in game wording of the freeze mechanic is “loses next attack” so I guess it actually makes sense if she’s only frozen for the first spell but I don’t own the card so haven’t seen if that’s the case.
Silence removes all effects and enchantments, so it makes complete sense that it removes frozen and always has.
I’m not an expert on the game’s logic so take what I say with a grain of salt:
S’theno can attack with her ability because the Freeze mechanic prevents normal attacks, but does not in fact prevent “forced” attacks like S’theno and minions that attack because of the effect of Devouring Swarm.
I got really angry by the silence, as a druid played two starfish against me - each time when I froze his board and it got me really wound up.
But with S’theno it just rubs me the wrong way. If a thing is frozen, it should stay frozen and not to choose when and if it suits the minion to be or not to be frozen. It is as lame as Piercing arrow damaging you when a hunter shoots his own minion.
Just good tech by the opponent tbh.
Still annoying as hell though. Who plays two of those things??? (well, obviously the guy I played against, but who else?)
I do not see SILENCE as the appropriate effect to remove freeze. =( lets leave it at that, but that Lady b…ch? Nah, that I will never agree with.
There is an achievement for it so maybe they’ve got that in mind.
I’d run 2 of it in a bunch of my decks (only have 1) but that’s because I like the card, as you’re absolutely right that the stats say that currently no competitive deck should run 2 copies, that 1 copy is probably wrong but not an abysmal tech choice and that it just makes the cut as correct in highlander decks.
