Since I can’t post in a thread where I’m already the last one to post, and I’m not getting any kind of answer, I’ll just keep on making these new topics.

Where is that ignore user function?

Yes there is one. Stop coming to this forum and you won’t see post

This is why i need the function.
These annoying little children…

I’m pretty sure you already know that there is no such function on the new forum interface.
You also made it very clear that you like there to be one.

Repeating this request / question over and over again will not change anything. It is just a waste of everyone’s time.

If Blizzard agrees that this would be useful, then they will start work to make this happen. But reality check - changes like that can take weeks, sometimes even months. And they have to fight for priority and budget with all other work on the backlog.
If Blizzard disagrees with you and does not want to build such a feature then you’ll just have to accept that. Repeating the same post over and over again has no effect other than to make you look like a whining child.

Maybe. My chief grievance is that I’d just like an answer from the forum people, either way.
“Yes, we are working on it.”
“No, there won’t be any such function.”

I don’t care about not getting what I want.
It’s the just plain ignoring me when it’s their job to answer that can trigger me. Like I said, I posted this in the technical section and they just moved it here without any reply. And I remember from the old forums I’m not the only who’s annoyed with this.

Agree with this, besides - this forum build was implemented more then year and half ago on OW and SC message boards. If such an option was going to happen, it was going to happen.

Rofl, thats so Scoobie Doo vilain like :ghost:

Scoobie Doo references, abbreviations I don’t understand.

Perfect illustrations of why I need it so badly.

Anyway, like I said, I posted this twice in the technical section, so it was never meant for feedback. Just wanted a reply from the forum people. Which is their job.

I will give up now though, BigHugger did have a point.

OW - OverWatch
SC - Starcraft

Scoobie refference:

I don’t get it - you need ignore function because you don’t like Scooby Doo? How are those things even related. I’m fascinated.

I genuinely don’t get why you need an ignore user feature in a forum more than any other user could. Care to explain? I mean, why can’t you stand some posts that are in your sight? Isn’t it enough to just avoid replying to them AKA don’t feed the troll?

OP is talking about one poster who shall remain nameless. However, he needs to take a step back and relax as he is starting to come across as slightly whiny and pernickety.

Dude. Just ignore the posts yourself. You are capable of that I presume?

Lack of self-restriction is my weakness.
I know it’s childish, but that ignore button was my savior.

But yeah, you’re right, I’m overdoing it.

The end.

If so, isn’t his request a form of a subtile harassment and trolling to said user, and excuse my Harry Potter refference, but can we call it Voldemort if his name has to be unspoken… or if you preffer a J.R.R. Tolkien one - Sauron?

So you want an ignore button to block childish people because you, yourself, admit you’re to childish not to rise to them? I’m sure there’s some irony in there somewhere. Just learn to ignore it

Yes, there is. And it’s so sweet, that it could potentialy damage your teeth

So learn self-control and don’t let them get to you. Valuable life lesson right there

Threads that refer to its forum’s community instead of the original purpose of said forum (HS in this case) are never good, constructive, positive or useful threads. And in my opinion those threads come from bored people who try to find some kind of purpose in the community itself.

In few words, I find this kind of threads disgraceful ones. I hope this one gets closed anytime soon before it turns into a pointless argument about pointless stuff.

The real question is ,why do they keep track on how many times a post got edited ?
Makes the ignore user option more usefull then that one.

I thought you could not post links until you had a certain forum level /achievement

and editing this post but no editing mark counter pops up :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh there it goes

I mean, do people really have to draw you? This is eu forum, only moderators are here. If you want to have a chance that your suggestion comes to activision blizzard, or someone who maintain forum, then post your post on NA forum.

How about you all go to sleep, you seemed all right Chicharito but since you started posting on the forums 30% of your posts are bashing Azra and Spideros with no tact, for being frank and having harsh words sometimes, then you use the same words against other people, do you have daddy issues with them or something? I enjoy good fights but yours are just obnoxious, like a toddler who needs someone to beat a bar/fence/something he ran right into in order to feel better, he doesn’t even seem hurt, but butthurt, needing that beating of the fence cause he demands justice, whatever that might be. On top of that, you lower yourself to the level of Toma, the bot that griefs people as bad as if he wasn’t even trying.

I’d personally roast you all obnoxious

but I’d get banned, congratz, you proved me that we need an ignore button
