If i have 2 normal mountain giants,but craft 2 golden ones before they hall of famed,i get the dust value for the gold ones,right?Asking it,because would like to get some dust profit,the idea is to craft golden card then dust it after they rotate out and keep the normal ones for wild games.Can it work this way or i am misunderstand how it works?

i think so and i probably will do the same, but the most reliable person on this topic is usually ixnay :slight_smile: so ill wait for his advice, i basicly could craft all of those cards in golden and there is a chance ill might do that

You’ll make no extra profit crafting golden versions if you already have regular versions, it’ll be a wash if you DE the golden and you’ll be down if you keep them.

Scenario 1: You do nothing: you get 800 dust (400 X 2) + can DE for 200
Scenario 2: You craft double golden Mountain Giant, you get: 1600 - 1600 (crafting cost) + 800 for DE BUT lose the 800 you would have got for having the regular versions.

I have only 5ooo dust,so cannot craft everything,need to make a wise decision.Think i have all commons rares ans epics in normal,ungold version.Not have Velen,or Leeroy,but as i mentioned,cannot craft everything,would like to invest my dust as wise as possible.

Short version: Everything you have normal you do nothing. Everything you have missing, craft golden. You wana start with the lengendaries as they give the best return. So if you can scrape together 6400, then the 100% best thing to do is craft golden Leeroy and Velen, then you can DE them after for 3200 extra dust.

Thanks very much ,think i understand the maths now,think i believed before i get 800 dust for dusting golden epic,but i was wrong ofc.Will check my collection later then to see if i can get enough dust somehow to craft both legendaries.Another question,will they go to the hall of fame on nest week,or only after the new expansion out?

On the expansions release.

It’s definitely worth clearing out some dead wood, but even if you craft 1 golden and 1 regular that’ll still be 2000 extra dust for free :slight_smile:
