1.) Sometimes, even if you have 3+ Gold, it doesnt let you buy a minion, use Hero Power or refresh the board, giving you the error ‘Not Enough Gold’.
2.) Sometimes, ranking isnt rewarded based on health but by who died first. Even in case that’s intended, it’s unfair. If i died at 0 and another dude died at -15, i DEMAND to finish in a higher position cause i resisted more. Simple as that. The reason some fights finish late is because of Poisonous animations or due to Token/Divine Shield generation, which in turn favors certain board types.
3.) Mid-game, the ones whose animations finish earlier, have an unfair advantage over the rest, cause they 're simply 3-6 seconds ahead to pick the minions they want from the shared pool.
4.) Sometimes, repositioning minions during rope’s end (when there’s about 2-3 seconds left) is canceled, reversing any board changes.
5.) Agressive rerolling should be discouraged. Spamming reroll to get that X minion first is a lame design mentality and doesnt promote strategic thinking but rushed choices.
Suggestions for (3) and (5):
- Either let players enter Recruit Phase phase simultaneously, or
- Predetermine the first 3 Recruit Rerolls for everyone
Feel free to post any bugs you encountered here. Im pretty sure i forgot some, so i’ll update when they pop up again.

1st one
Definitly. Yesterday i had that one. It said 2 coins on the left but showed 3 which let me misplay a few times during one run
2nd. You mean a waiting room so everyone picks at the same time? Sure why not. Didnt think of that tbh
3rd same as above imo
4th that never happened to me. Either it was ok or i was simply too slow
5th even if thats the case you onky make rushed choices and likely screw yourself over. I really would prefer the way it is now over possible having 3 rerolls without anything i can use for my build
My 2 cents
You got a few good ideas
earlier today I had this:
I had 5 minions. my opponent’s cave hydra killed the 3 left-most minions (including a rat pack). the remaining minions were 2 hyenas (which were both to the right of rat pack). however the rats from rat packs deathrattle spawned between the 2 hyenas.
I have had a couple of games now where my opponent has cards that are at least 2 levels above his level. How is this possible? I have snapshot from earlier where he was tier 3 but had a tier 6 card in play? is it people cheating ot blizz putting in bots who are set to cheat due to lack of ai
I think the purpose of not selling minions from the hand is strategy
You have to think more about what you buy and the order to play the minions

I realise that is the way it can be done, but seems strange i faced it quite a few times, especially so early in the game
I agree on that, but currently there’s no way to stack gold for later turns, paying 3 Gold to gain back only 1 is costly enough. Sacrificing a minion on top of that is too much, and thats why we end up spending 80% of our gold on rerolls end-game.

Cobalt Guardian should probably move to Tier 4. He makes an average of 3-4 trades per fight, which is insane for a Tier 3 minion.
-
George The Fallen’s Hero Power possibly reduced to 3. At 4 mana, its too costly, making it almost unplayable during mid-game. You basically sacrifice a whole minion and a reroll to give a minion Divine Shield that may be proven useless later on (unless its Amalgam ofcourse… coz Amalgam is OP OP)
Great post!
I wish they would implement the waiting room for 3, or give people the option to turn off animations too. Going last because of animations and then not having enough time to do what you need is stupid.
I have no problem with re-rolling, it adds to the game, not take away from it. The less choice we have the worse the game will feel since it’s already a rng fest.

Occasionally, when you try to buy a minion from Bob, the minion ‘slips’ from the mouse cursor, returning back to its initial position.
Btw i never asked to reduce the amount of rerolls. I simply meant that the first 3 Rerolls should be predetermined, a.k.a. not random. If they are not random, then the ones who enter first the Recruit Phase wont have any advantage cause the outcome would be the same even if they didn’t.
how would the non random reroll look like?
The same. You wouldn’t notice any visual difference. Iternally, all rerolls can be calculated during Battle phase. Though, its not as simple cause when you sell a minion for example it reenters the pool. So maybe the idea of having a ‘lobby’ to prevent unfair picks would be more straightforward.
The Battlegrounds mobile UI is incredibly frustrating:
-
The animations take WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too friggin’ long and lock up the interface (even worse, the lockup is inconsistent so you can’t even be sure if you’re actually doing something, wasting even more turn time as you repeat commands)
-
Having the hand open blocks minion purchases so when you’re rushing to buy-play-sell-buy minions you end up wasting a ton of time just struggling with stupid interface issues on top of 3/4 of your turn going down the drain waiting on pointless animations
-
The way commands sometimes queue up and sometimes don’t makes it so that all too often you see actions you thought you managed to do in time get cancelled after the turn timer has already run out, which can make you slam your forehead down on the desk in frustration.
Dancing Deryl, who is hard enough to play under the time limit on desktop, might as well be unplayable on mobile.
I really love this game mode, which is why these issues make me literally yell out in frustration sometimes.
FIX THIS.

We have a “Hero” pool of 8.
Whats the point when you play so often against the same one ?
My last one I played against 3 “Hero’s” ; a. 4 games, b. 4 games c. 5 games.
Against the other “Hero’s” not a single game.
Let’s hope this will be fixed in the future.
They allready said they will work on it.
Probably january patch
A couple of issues I have noticed:
- I have a Perks ticket but it will not allow me to press/claim it.
- AI related during the actual battles, I have no idea how the algorithm is supposed to work if there is one, however I would suggest tweaking it as follows:
a) If the opponent has no taunt minions then the next most dangerous options are those whose stats will increase from other factors during the battle. (i.e. Wax rider Togwaggle with dragons, Scavenging Hyena with beasts)). Take them out before they get out of range.
b) On a similar note if an opponent has a minion like a Soul Juggler and more than a couple other demons it should be taken out before feeding it’s ability by targeting other demons first or creatures that spawn demons,
c) And another note on the AI’s “poor decision making” is when at the end of a battle you are going to lose anyhow it should be looking to minimize the amount of damage your hero is going to take by using the damage output of remaining minions that can be killed and take them out first.
That’s all that I have noticed in the last couple weeks of playing during this physical distancing because of Covid19 .
So, played a game today and two people died yet were than placed first and second. Then 4td and 5th filled with dead people. I died and ended up at 6th place instead of fourth.
