so my question is, i went from lieutenant commander to private instead of getting the rank of commander, is this a bug?
I imagine it’s a visual bug that would get fixed with a relog.
i tried that and it was unsucessful. Logout/login didn’t work.
You haven’t been court-martialled have you? 
I’ve just had the same issue - was promoted to Commander and in the next game I am back to Private - must be a bug!
wizardtine have you spoken to blizzard regarding this issue?
It’s a known bug that was caused by the recent patch that is being looked into, so hopefully won’t take long to fix.
