High Priest Thekal

Was playing against someone & they used this card. At first I thought it seemed pointless but then later forgot which hero it was & guessed it was Warrior. And so thought it could be a very strong card. But to my surprise I discovered it was a Paladin card. And it seems there are no cards that can be played with this. With Warrior you could play it with cards such as Reckless Flurry & Siege Engine. But having it as a Paladin card seems like an utter waste in my opinion. But then again I understand that if it was a Warrior card it might be really op.
I just read the siege engine card again & it seems like you only get 1 attack altogether, not for each armor. But hypothetically if Thekal or a similar card were a Warrior class card I reckon there should be a Warrior minion class card where you gain 1 attack for each armor. But certain conditions should be met before you can get the card so it isn’t too op. I’m interested to see what others think about this.

it’s a good card in paladin because paladin has lots of healing, which is useless if you’re near full health, but if you’re at 1 health, it’s very effective. plus healing has some synergy like the card that gets +4/+4 and taunt if you’ve healed 10 points.

and thekal brings your health count to 1 without costing you any defensive points (because it gets replaced by the armor).

Until your opponent plays plate breaker

What nobody does because a card which is useless against 7 out of 9 classes isnt really popular

I dont count pala because high priest is basicly the only thing it has

Correct, nobody does currently, but a card is now printed to counter armor and that can only be a good thing.

Well i dont complain it exists ofc.

They printed a number of different tech cards like the stickyfinger (which stole my anchorr for the first time last night) and the armor removal which was requested by people for quite some time now.

Its def. A good move because it Shows that we have stuff to prepare with, can counter wild stuff like odd warrior or they simply showed that they listen to the community
