How to fix Murloc Paladin

I concede every game against them. Blizzard will notice the winrate and fix this mess. The more of us conceding the faster they will fix this crap

There are decks way more powerful than the tier 3 Murloc Paladain, yet they remain untouched. There’s a reason Murloc Paladin is only played on lower MMRs.

Are you still complain about Murloc Paladin? Omg… what kind of deck are you playing? It was already nerfed 3 times… what the hell do ppl still want? The only useable strategy for Paladin is Aggro now… Murloc Paladin is weak on higher ranks because it is just too slow and have no Taunt or Lifesteal minions… not to mention AOE. I am in Legend with my Menagerie Aggro deck for months now… it costs 2020 dust and no need a single Legendary card… the game is a huge mess right now. All of the aggro decks are beat Murloc Paladin and also most of the control decks with their insane values.

Yeah they’ll notice it’s barely okay and is by no means a meta outlier.

: ) if you can’t handle something as simple and easy as Murloc pally you’re probably just bad.

Stop speaking out of your *** dude. ā€œToo Slowā€ - ā€œNo taunt minionsā€ … You are really a moron to think Paladin murloc quest doesn’t need nerfing and probably defending it cause you play it.

I am not defending it… and never played it… I am just bored of post cry about a low rank deck… If you really want to know, I already went ahead of the meta when many ppl tried to play Murloc because I already realized Aggro will be much better and made it to legend really fast with my own deck. But thats why I am not arguing with stupid ppl… because you can’t explain stupid ppl they are stupid… just cry then I don’t care… The biggest problem in this game is that most of players wants to get Legend by netdecks… but the meta is always shaping. I always tried to beat the meta and not play it… that is the difference between me and many others who can do nothing else just cry for nerfs even against one of the most useless decks… welcome to my ignore list kid and live happily ever after.

Modify quest to play, not summon murloc. That would slow it down to a normal tempo.

It’s a slow deck. The tempo of the deck isn’t its strength.

the usual Murloc Paladins I mostly lose against are the ones that complete their quest 4 times in the starting 6 turns and against those I sometimes go ā€œI remember the old Snowball Murloc deck that had a card that made all murlocs get +1/+1 for each summoned that 1st got nerfed for each played before going back to each summoned but with the change +1/0 for each murlocā€

This deck archetype is just cancer. Had time for 4 games. Went up against murloc paladin 4 times. Nerf it so we can have some variation. It is like pirate warrior all over again.
The moment i saw this quest… Just stop with these poor design choices.

The issue with this statement is where do you think a majority of the playerbase is?? Are they all in high legend ? Most likely not, So when a deck is affecting the majority of players then something needs to be done as few players = longer waiting times for opponents.

I think the other issue is that the murloc paladin can mindlessly trade on early game and if you draw remotely bad on a deck then you basically get paced out specially if Grunty is drawn / discovered early. (Dont get me started on Discovery of supposed ā€œOne of ā€œ cards). If im laying down taunts almost every turn that are being destroyed and they still holding board due to all the extra ā€œSummon/Discover a cheap murlocā€ which then contributes to the quest it just escalates pretty quickly.

Same. I think they should make a tech card that says something like ā€œChoose a minion. Destroy all minions of the same type in both hands, decks and battlefieldā€. Or something like that.

I also got legend and beat Murloc Paladin easily with my own deck.

That said, I still insta-concede when I face it because it’s monotone, annoying and not fun to play against.

It’s very boring and annoying to play against, esp. in Standard (Wild has more variety, Standard is basically ā€˜Paladin? Murlocs…again’).

I ā€˜get’ the appeal of it being a relatively cheap deck to make but that cuts both ways - why spend a lot of money on Hearthstone if you have to constantly adjust to an environment of ā€˜Pauper Paladin’-decks?

Nerfing the bonus, the number needed, or changing it to ā€˜Play a Murloc’ are all options I’m down with.

It’s not a good deck.
