How to handle token druids ?

As a control warrior player, i m getting destroyed by token druids in turn 5 usually and i think its too powerful. Using removal like brawl or warpath only save me one turn, next turn they having full buffed board. I want to know other players experiences. Please share with me, thanks.

Might share your list?

Me and a friend are having a blast against token druid with the same controllwarrior list.

I can post it later or tomorrow.

I didnt play to much ranked this season but he went from 15 to 10 with ease

Sure, it would be nice to see your list, thanks.

The best way to deal token druid is to concede every druid :+1:

If you want to beat druid, you need more early removal and make your deck faster.

E.g., this deck similar to yours - 43% vs token druid

This one with some rush minions and a geddon (to kill a board of treants) - 67%

Both of them are destroyed by hunters though. But when you meet a lot of hunters you can change the deck to counter them.

Control decks don’t rely on just their own gameplan, most of their cards are there to counter the opposition, so you can’t expect to win in any meta with the same list - you have to change it based on what you meet.

My deck is nearly the same

Only difference is instead of the saboteur i run 2 Militia Commander and a second Supercollider instead of Elysiana.

The saboteur gives you nearly nothing against token Druid as long as they got minions on board. And if not you dont want to play their token generators during your turn. The only thing they dont want to play in your turn is savage roar.

The militia is often more then strong enoug to take out their minions and stick for another turn so they can go for another minion.

Also druid doesnt want to go into fatigue

As far as im aware there is no druid deck atm which takes benefit from fatigue.

Not even healdruid which is also a rather easy matchup so far.

The second supercollider punishes them when they try to just play around mass removal by buffing only a small amount of minions.

2 6/6 tokens are gone by one swing with Supercollider.

Also play the hecklebot early. They rarely got a big creature in the deck which they want to have in play without their battlecry.

Also when you get the discover from dr. Boom always go for devestator and dynomatic (which you probsbly do anyway because its logical) or again hecklebot.

The hecklebot won me a number of games against any kind of decks. Its a real allstar.

Wild Pyromancer + cheap spells and save coin
Dragn that deals 1 dmg to all
Mossy horror

When there is bomb warrior the meta shifts to druid , to many druids then warlock comes into play.

i encounter most of these decks between 16:00 and 23:00 where there is probally a peak in players, the most annoying thing i find against druids is that they could have potential lethal every turn because of savage roar.

Geddon is better vs druid though (at least as long as they run Forest’s aid). They have to remove geddon before playing the 2nd copy of forest’s aid (since geddon clears the board every turn). And Swipe doesn’t kill geddon - they have to take 7 face damage from hero power (so 6 mana and 7 damage to the face just to deal with geddon).

Forest’s aid → mossy horror → forest’s aid is still a line of play in favor of the druid, unless you have another answer in hand (well a control warrior should have at least 2 in hand anyway I guess).

True that
Yet, mossy can be played as early as 5 with coin
and that gives you some breathing space
Turn 6 can be lethal for druid if he has doubla savage and full board of tokkenst

beside that - yep, geddeon is a good choice too
