I have been playing last days battlegrounds… today i played with my friend and in last game, i played Ysera and he played Reno… we had a round against each other… he won… according to your “patchnotes” - You will no longer face the same player, or Kel’Thuzad, more than once in every 3 combat rounds (unless there are 2 players remaining)… i must have ask, how the hell is then possible, that the next round i played again against Reno and not against either Kel’Thuzad or Nozdormu ( there is a screenshot prnt.sc/rogq67 )
And this is not first time that something like this happened to me.
How is it possible ?
sorry what do you mean? the screenshot shows you played one round against millhouse which you probably killed, and then yesera.

Nah the screen shot shows he just faced Reno and is now also about to face Reno again.
Definitely looks like a bug, there’s no reason you should face the same opponent back-to-back unless you’re the last 2.

Its as Ixnay said… i was Ysera… played against Reno and next round facing Reno as well. But it did not happened first time to me. So i was wondering if its normal or just bug.
Back-to-back is definitely a bug. Think there are some scenarios when you get down to 3 when you could face the same opponent 2 games apart but there is literally no circumstance where you should face the same back-to-back before the final 2.
Hmm actually I can think of 1 scenario and that’s that Noz quit but the standings hadn’t updated. I’ve had that a few times early on where I’ll go into a battle but the opponent has left and after I face them they become Kel’Thuzard without me killing them. So maybe they were getting destroyed by the ghost they were facing and pulled the plug?
Guessing not and 1 of you faced Noz the round after though.
Noz didnt left or quit because next round Reno played against him ( me and Nebidos ( Reno ) were in party ) and Noz if I remember well defeated illidan previous round so i guess Noz played against him 2 rounds because i played 2 rounds against Reno… Reno defeated me, i was out and then Reno faced Noz.
Why do people even play Battlegrounds though?
It is pure garbage.
