You can’t just pick either side and support it, on one hand China looses the main tie to the WORLD basically and a very important economical center now that it is a developed country, on the other hand those people loose democracy 'n sht, you know already, anyhow, they are asking for “liberation” but a good portion of them are asking for full independence which is just upsetting

Anthony Jeselnik is one of the best comedians of his generation and he has a pretty dark Neflix special called “Thoughts and Prayers”. You mentioned thoughts and prayers and I was wondering if it was related to him. Watch it though… and thank me later.

Now, this, even if it has a low probability of success, is consequential.
Now this was not directed at me, but it is never the less wrong in this instance.
This forum is the only HS related site I read use on a regular basis. (Well I also look at HS replay from time to time). News about the ban and price money hadn’t reached the main news outlets or I hadn’t noticed it, so this post and other posts here were the first I saw regarding the topic.
Since I don’t like to rely on just one forum post I looked at twitter, reddit etc. and sure something was going on. Then I looked a bit more and found the link were Blizzard is selling a pin supporting suicide prevention in the LGBTQ community, just to see if Blizzard have been engaging in political / social courses before.
(For the record I think the “Blizzard Pride Pin” was supporting a good course).
So for the next step; I stopped the HS game I was playing and uninstalled the game.
Now I cannot prove that all forum posts have consequences, but this and the others here on the EU forum did prompt me to do something.
Edit. Yes I have two accounts. For some reason I decided to play HS on a different than my Diablo account 
I might actually have a third account for SC2 as well

It would if those stupid people are embraced and condoned. When I go to place like R/Hong Kong and other sites with lot’s of them, most of them cheers when there are post about violence against police and pro-china civilians. I see them making edging jokes about violence and justifying for the stupid people.
If pettiotons gatherimg 200-300 signs of angry teenagers were worth anything, especially about govs or huge companies, they wouldnt be allowed, rofl. But you can allways be creative in them “SUPPORT HONK-HONKgate, PLOX” and calm your rebelious soul that you have done something, joined the fight, bla bla bla, and go calm to sleep, as all good mannered anarchists do.
Had a blizzard account since 2006. Now I have made a request to delete it. It’s the only way I can show them my disappointment in their actions.

you have 0 influence and are just wasting time, second why should blizz ever care, what would they gain? what are you even hoping from any corporation? because the sure wont invest the time, effort, and money it take to actually have a meaningful impact.
First of all, write to your Congressmen or whatever other political leadership represents you. Blizzard is a gaming company not a political entity or organization.
Secondly, stop being Chinese made products. Pretty much ditch all your Tech hardware. Thank you.
