But nah. Devs dont give a heck about balance. Druids summoning two boards of 6/10s from nothing on turn 7-8, death knights healing for 50, paladins rekking you turn 4 with their get +3 attack aura, hunters with their permanent spell damage cards. None of them ever running out of steam, because lets give these decks more card draw too.
Oh also the condition for the card draws and insanely stacking effects are a joke too. It is basically; “be a facehunter and be even more broken” or “summon a bunch of silver hand recruits to make your deck even more broken” or “draw and play two druids cards and then just sit back and relax because there is no possible way they will be able to clear this again on turn 8 with defile”. There is no need to go out of the way to get a beneficial effect, you do it for playing the same dumbo deck you did so far. Might as well just buff those treants to be 10/10s to begin with so we can skip the charade. Give them a deathrattle too; summon a 10/10 treant with deathrattle: summon a 10/10 treant with the same deathrattle and so on and so forth. Also give them charge so there is no time wasted, at least you die quickly. And at least make an achievement; “Your face broken in by 14 massive treants with taunt that your opponent summoned out of thin air” So at least I can feel good about something after I lose to this the 15th time in a row.
There is basically no place for any other than the decks i mentioned in standard. There is the utterly broken treant druid, face paladin, shoot the face hunter and that is pretty much it. There is also a warrior with the self bussing valkyr es which is also pretty insane, but way lower in the power level than the ones mentioned and armor warrior, which while annoying to deal with is not impossible level. On lower ranks there were some brave souls with mage but quickly dropped off in the beginnning of platinum.
It is insane to think that there is a billion dollar company out there that hires a design team that has nothing in their heads, dont play their own game, because there are such huge problems with the current meta that even an industry layman can clearly point them out and nothing is being done about it
