Idiot loatheb synergy with hero cards

HELLO

i have this question of HUGE IMPORTANCE, so why the hell, for example, preparation doesn’t reduce the cost of hero cards (say, valeera the hollow), but then comes idiot loatheb whose text says ‘increase the cost of all the enemy idiot’s SPELLS by 5’ and it does work on my hero cards too???

i need a thorough explanation of this idiot loatheb logic, if you are unable to do that then please fix the I D I O T battlecry, thank you in advance

Loatheb neither increases nor decreases the cost of hero cards.

If you want an explanation, then instead of throwing insults it’s better to post a screenshot or a link to the game on hsreplay.
If you just want to throw insults, then feel free to ignore me.

My guess: Someone played the other 5 mana 5/5 that increases BATTLECRIES by 5 and you weren’t paying attention.
