Well the cards are very disappointing , no thought put into them just a re hash of old ideas. I may be thinking this expansion had no thought in it at all. Watching the 2 Dev talking about it was bad enough. The new corrupt mechanic is bad many people are playing old decks already even before the first week is over. Shaman has a pick granted but apart from that the usual decks played.
Overall I think Blizz Hearthstone would like to forget this week completely. The battle pass , the expansion, people leaving the team, the tweet about the battle pass was very poor and ill thought for a response. I think they have the tin hats on and in the HQ bunker with fingers crossed I think.

I don’t think the cards are too bad, there are some really clever cards which have created some new combo’s.
I think the battle pass system is a complete mess and has a negative effect on players. Especially F2P players or players who don’t have 5 hours a day to grind through the levels.
Hopefully they have something up their sleeves which will rectify some of the mistakes and get the player base happy again.
Not even close for me.
Many have been way more egregious before the first wave of nerfs came in (Ashes of Outland Demon Hunter, corridor creeper, Quest Rogue, Druidstone etc).
Judging the expansions during their 4 month block, Meanstreets where you were either in charge or making progressively bigger guys and The Grand Tournament which was just boring and filled with people asking Who am I? where way worse.
Judging by time in standard, Knights of the Frozen Throne was by far the most happy I was to see a set rotate, 20 months of Death Knights and Keleseth was too long. Witchwood escapes cause they did the right thing of getting rid of Baku and Genn a year early.
So far I’ve had fun messing around doing achievements, just waiting on any potential nerfs before making any crafting choices towards real decks.
I know I’m in the minority but the new XP system is better for me. I get more stuff/gold doing what i was already doing, with the exception that I’ve have had to switch from casual to ranked. Because I’m already ahead of the curve gold wise i.e. day 1 of Darkmoon faire is when I started saving for the next expansion, it works out way better for me because I don’t care about the gold accumulation being sporadic as I don’t need gold until April*. In fact, WAY more week 1, marginally more total after 17* weeks, but dead points seemingly earning nothing in the middle suits me perfectly. Plus actually getting progress when losing games is a welcome change.
Well if no nerfs come we know that the cards in the Darkmoon set are bad. The idea they balanced is laughable. Compare to the cycle of each year the last set is usually pretty OP this set is not which suggests my idea no thought has gone into it. Each card effect has been done before all they have done is make us believe its new.
If you have not bought the Battle pass for the extra bonus, which by the way you need to click on the icons to get the buffs as some streamers forgot to press lol. Correct if am wrong but what your saying your no rush to get the gold as yet. If you do not get a move on you will only get a months worth of gold by April compared to the old system. I would get near 4k each month with promotion etc near 5k. The BP you wont get that 3 k if your lucky why do you think people are complaining.
