i am new to this game, i tried it when it released but never played it serious (more rounds a day)
i tried it before on a phone but screen was too small, and now i got a new phone with a bigger screen and i wanted a nice game for it so i tried Heathstone again.
and i like it so far. even it sometimes disconnects at work (in breaktime) and when i fail missions i go further on pc at home, the ashes of outland prologue was very hard but i am proud i finished it in less then 20 rounds each (mannoroth and cenarius)
and the reward is nice, i readed that demon hunter is OP, i am a beginner and it is nice that ppl leave the match already before it even started
i am sure they can beat me even when i have a demon hunter, but a free win is always nice
before i played priest, i like it, it was also my first character in WoW back in the days.
and as a loot goblin i mostly started the game also when there where free cards
i hope the other prologues and storys are not that hard as ashes of outlands.
I will give you a bit of a headsup - most of the older adventures mostly consist of you playing with decks that you’ve made yourself, no premade decks or anything like that. Although they should all be very much beatable except for a few that require specialized decks to beat (Rafaam in League of Explorers, Lich King in Knights of the Frozen Throne, etc) but you’ll worry about those when the time comes, I reckon.
Last of those adventures was Knights of the Frozen Throne (Though with that particular adventure you have a premade deck in the first mission, you get a free random Death Knight hero card once you clear it though).
Kobolds & Catacombs and onwards is when you get more of a “F2P-friendly” experience since you get to build the deck as you go out of cards you might not have at that point yet, though the rewards may not be as large as in older adventures.
But if you want more of a card collection (In Wild at least) and have money to spare, you’ll want to grab the older adventures as they give unique cards & plenty of legendaries that are rather staple in most Wild decks (Emperor Thaurissan, Baron Rivendare, Brann Bronzebeard, etc.)
Lastly, whatever you may have heard about Demon Hunter these last few days should be taken with a big grain of salt - Demon Hunter has been nerfed quite significantly from when he first appeared (He was REALLY OP) but is now in a much healthier place and not nearly as overpowered as he originally was.

First of all, welcome to the game! Glad you’re enjoying your experience!
Demon Hunter more than OP has that little edge more than the other classes, but nothing too difficult to overcome with the right deck or just playing as best as you can. But again, it all depends even on personal aspects: i hear some hate Demon Hunter, some really hate Priest, and usually every expansion some new deck becomes the center of complaints.
The singleplayer adventures are, in my personal opinion, really great and fun. Didn’t find them particularly difficult, even if some of them have a harder mode you unlock or can choose. I suggest you try them and enjoy them, maybe starting from the more recent ones down to the older ones, where as BrotherRoga said, you will need to build your own deck. In the meantime thou i’m sure you’ll manage to buy/collect packs and cards to do so, and enjoy those missions as much as i did.

Thanks,
My most epic moments are winning from Mannoroth and Cenarius, but i am stuck now at Jek’haz and i don’t know the tactics…
