Female player here. Just reached level 100 on the rewards track, was looking forward to choosing a new hero skin. Pretty disappointed that from the 20 options to choose from, only two were female - and I already own both of them. When playing (ranked, high platinum/low diamond) the ratio male/female of opponents’ heros is much higher than 1:10, so this reward doesn’t really represent players’ preferences. Also in the shop options for female skins are very limited. I don’t mind paying for them but I’d really like to have some more choices!
Here’s some stats I dug up about the hero skins and the female to male ratios:
Death Knight: 11 portraits, 5 female, 6 male - 45.45%
Demon Hunter: 28 portraits, 9 female, 19 male - 32.14%
Druid: 30 portraits, 13 female, 17 male - 43.33%
Hunter: 28 portraits, 7 female, 21 male - 25%
Mage: 39 portraits, 28 female, 11 male - 71.79%
Paladin: 31 portraits, 13 female, 18 male - 41.93%
Priest: 30 portraits, 16 female, 14 male - 53.33%
Rogue: 29 portraits, 21 female, 8 male - 72.41%
Shaman: 33 portraits, 5 female, 28 male - 15.15%
Warlock: 30 portraits, 16 female, 14 male - 53.33%
Warrior: 32 portraits, 8 female, 24 male - 25%
So when you think about it, only Shaman comes even close to the numbers you described, and even then not by much…
The selection of heroes in the shop changes occasionally, so if you don’t see any available now, check back later. There’s also plenty of unlockable skins in the My Collection section where the hero skins are, take a peek, plenty of them can be unlocked with gold.
