So my problem is this. I know the game can be f2p or p2w, it depends from my own decision. But still, I can’t understand the logic of opening legendarys in packs. Doesn’t make sense, that normaly you get 1 legendary every 20packs, but if you are unlucky, the pity pack is 40. So can you explain me? If I generously give you 150eur. Its both bundles and xp track bonuse. I get shi… in face? I opened 96 packs (overall opened 180packs) and got only 2 legendarys. And this is not the first expansion that this has happened to me. I dont think I am in some kind of black list if there is any. But just doesnt feel ok. And even worse, that I actualy help you and give the money. I just want some potential solution to this. And just saying - unlucky doesnt cut it. Because its consistant.
Then i whatch streamer open packs. And they get 5 legendarys in 40packs. Really?
Also the big bundle gives u 2 golden legendarys. Okey, cool, I payed for it. Bit then to help myself even more, I get xp track. And there you receive the same free nonegolden legendary. So whats the point of not allowing to disenchant it? I have from 5 expansions nonegolden legendarys that is stuck and unusable. Because u give same golden legendary. Why you dont let to disenchant the none golden legendarys?
I still have missing 8 legendary cards from this expansion. But now already stuck with unusable duplicates.
All of this nonsens just will make people who even pay, to stop paying and or even leave the game.
Firstly, this statement can’t be true by definition of the rules in play. You are guaranteed a legendary within your 1st 10 cards of any new expansion. The, due to the pity rule you are guaranteed to get a legendary within 40 packs. So, by these rules in place, you will have gotten at least 3 (10+40+40=90<96) so chances are you missed seeing at least one in your openings. You can check how many legendaries you have by going to your collection, filtering it for the new expansion cards only and typing ‘legendary’ in the search bar.
If you only got a maximum of six legendaries from openings and rewards tracks, and there are 25 legendaries in the expansion, either your math is wrong, or you got a LOT more legendaries than you’re saying you did.
You didn’t ‘generously give’ anything. You BOUGHT as service that has a lot of chance involved in it. It’s explained to you in the terms and conditions…you buy them at your own risk. If I spent 100 a week on the lottery and didn’t ever win…what do you think they’d say if I rang up to complain that it’s unfair? That’s how risk works…you pay your money and you take your chances…or you don’t.
Yes, it sucks, it’s happened to me in previous expansions. I opened 90 packs in one expansion and got 10 legendaries…another I opend 130 and got 5…that’s how the dice rolls, but the excess cards give you dust you can use to create what you need. The trick is to wait till a meta settles so you can see what is worth crafting and what isn’t. In any given expansion, at least 50% of legendaries are trash anyway and there are, very often, 1 or 2 viable and competitive decks that only contain 1…sometimes even none.
Paying money in Hearthstone is not a guarantee of success…hence why it is not, never has been nor ever will be a pay to win game
First of all, those 96 packs wasn’t the first ones that i opened they were the last ones that I opened - to be exact I had around 170 packs in total. The first 70 was okey, around 20 to 25packs per legendary so around 4 of them with the 1 in first 10 packs.
2ndly I gave you the random number of missing legendarys, because i bought atleast 5 or so with dust after openings. And my intentions wasn’t to give you exact number of missing ones. But the fact, that u get duplicate legendarys were you can’t get rid of one. Dou you even pay for it. Its just a bug that needa to be fixed overall. There shouldn’t be the possibility to not be able to disinchent if you buy it.
And at the end u give me the bad luck explanation. Dont care about it. I could understand it if it happens this often in one expansion. But atleast 2 in row with pitty legendarys. There ahould be a problem in system.
In short what I want to say is.
Even if you do buy the packs the rewarding is horrible. The pitty number is too high, and there shouldn’t be a possibility to get them 2 in row in same expansion.
And secondly the uncraftable useless legendarys is juat a waste - commercial, just to make you buy.
So, basically, you got quite a lot of good luck in the first half of your packs and now…because you didn’t get the same good luck in the 2nd half, you’re complaining…no pleasing some people
Wow, yeah i thought getting a legendary in every 20 packs should be a normal thing, but now u call it a luck. Then i should be lucky to get 1 every 40 packs? Were is ur logic?

No it’s NOT a normal thing, that’s the point! when you get to your 20th pack you have approximately a 50% chance to get a legendary…if that happens to you several times…that’s good luck. once you get past around 26-27 packs regularly, then you start becoming unlucky because you have…at that point…a 2/3 chance to get a legendary. Getting to the 20 pack mark is like trying to flip a coin and try to get heads, and it lands on heads 2-3 times in a row then that’s good luck…that’s how percentages and chance works.
Be glad Blizzard actually saw sense to put the bad luck protection in. I wasn’t there when the game first released
I know how it works, but still u think its okej? To have that many pitty legendarys in both bundles combined that u pay a tune of money just to stay in it? I dont. Also when u see others throwing around double legendarys in single pack. Whats that about. How can you even get that, when its pitty after pitty every expansion.
Yes, I think it’s ok. Most half the legendaries are trash anyway so what does it matter if you don’t get them. How many do you actually need??? You can only play 1 deck at a time and only 4-5 max are worth playing in any given meta,
And yes, some people get double legendaries…but it’s RARE. You maybe see 5 people posting it on social media each expansion and you consider how many milions of people are opening packs, and how many of them are opening 30…50…100 packs…do you know how many packs that is and how often it actually happens? And it is entirely dependent on where their bad luck buffer is at that time. Maybe they open it on their 39th pack when they have a 97.5% chance to get a legendary? As soon as that legendary rolls their chance resets back to…say 2.5% chance…that works out as approximately a 2% chance to get a double legendary at that moment. When you consider how many players get to that point in the hundreds of millions of packs that are opened…of course it’s going to happen a few times…but because it didn’t happen to you, it’s unfair and rigged and you’re being cheated.
Get over yourself, do you have any idea how entitled you sound just because spent a stupid amount of money on a free game!!!???
This doesnt realy help newcomers or f2p, cuz they cant keep up, if you have a life. But the ones who want to feed you with money, just to participate and have fun and hope for games development gets punished.
Well I cant choose which bad as you say legendary i get. For example i had just 1 collosal with the openenings. Thats why you probably get everything, just because the useless ones are given you first, so you spend more. And you cant choose it’s random.
And you keep underlining that i want it all without spending anything! Now i want a normal chance to get things for what i pay. And this have been commersialized as 1 legendary 20packs ez. Then why advertise this false information. Just say that 2procent of people gets a legendary in first 20 packs. And i wount even bother to spend anymore.
Why I say this? You can see this is my 6post, have been here since game release. Havent really tryed to dig deep in this, because of this info running around 20packs 1 legendary. And moustly till last 2-3 years this just gets away fast. The pittys just are more and more.
And ehy you try to make me feel bad, cuz i spend money for game i like to play?
I think everyone expects to get something decent for what they spend.
To clerify the game isnt free. I can bet, that there is no player playing for free without spending any money more then 2 years here.

The main point is: your collection is not being measured in the amount of legendaries.
Opening many packs in your case guarantees you get enough dust to craft the cards you need to construct a decent deck, not a team of Legendaries.
Card rarity in Hearthstone is not an estimate of the card’s overall quality, nor has it ever been.
It really does suck when you low roll (3 in 110 my worst!). You just have to remember the purple patches.
Always thought the bang for your buck hasn’t been good enough and you should have more guarantees when spending money.
The unluckiest I ever saw, which I genuinely believe started packs being moved towards the players was Kripps Un’goro opening. At the time he had by far the most viewers as he was still opening 1000+ packs every launch day. His first legendary was Lyra his second 53 packs later was a second Lyra! “Coincidentally” after that embarrassment non-duplicate legendaries was added as well as the unofficial pity timer. My point with that is streamers get the same luck, you’re just gona notice the high rolls they get and ignore the low.
As for the non-disenchantable cards, they have 0 value, they’re just free cards we’re given. I’m sure a lot of people would like to dust them all but it’s not as though we’re told you can dust them looks at golden Mechatorque from Beta
