He roped me from turn 1 till the end, didn’t play a single card other than using his hero power and then pinging a card in the middle of his hand along with his hero power back and forth, rinse and repeat. His actions were the exact same in every single turn, in the exact same moments and order.
That’s the second time I come across this type of playstyle in the same day. Whether botting or plain trolling, this type of behavior should be punishable.
thats why im playing this game only for quests, no fun anymore playing it, 1 of 3 players always keeps u waiting full turn even if he dont have a card to throw at all, 2022 and people are malicious af even in games, also decks are bored af, every class playing 1 same deck 24/7 its like card game that having only 1 deck per class, no pleasure, no fun, only do quests 2/3 matches per 2/3 days just for gold, and play other game at all 
maybe someday this game will be like in old times and u will come back men, thats why “quests/gold” for now, if new expansion still gonna be like this one, every class playing 1 same deck then just delete it from disk and keep playing something else
Same here, botters were absent for a long while but I got a couple tonight (both warriors). The simple kind that just HP and rope.
So why is the report recent opponent feature still not available…

I just had this game. Botter’s battletag is <>. For once more a warrior, using his hero power at the start of the turn and then roping me until the end of the turn since turn 1. He didn’t play a single card during the game.
I’m not sure what the purpose of all this is. To annoy others? To do dailies? Either way, this is unacceptable.
does anyone know where I can find these bots??? just wanna do some research on them not gonna use them I promise. won’t use them promise.
It’s not that hard to download one. With a simple Google search you can find a handful.
Good luck with that. Even if you only use it against the Innkeeper, it’s still against ToS and you most likely will get banned.
Whether true or not, reporting the suspected botter here with their battle tag is a violation of the Terms of Service of these forums. I suggest you edit your post to remove the battle tag.

I dont think the report button is for that kind of people, if he is there press button watch youtube let you win he is playing technically by hs rules. Report button is created for people cheating in the game . like skipping animations.
While i agree with you roping if its on purpose is annoying , its under the rights of the player to do, cause you might be right there but how about thinking your turn and play as you rope or after you end your moves you stay a while and think next turns since this thinking time is your privilage . Poeple would abuse it

It shouldn’t be then. You expect one to blindly accept a rule, even if the said one doesn’t make any sense. Who said rules are not up for questioning? Even if we assume the said offenders weren’t bots, roping on purpose should be bannable for a couple of reasons.
That’s totally fine. But that’s another whole chapter. I was referring to ropers / botters and only. You can clearly see on both sets of screeenshots that none of them played any cards… at all.
Sure. A free win is always welcome, especially on ladder. But still i’d rather engage with other non-toxic people instead, without wasting noone’s time.
Nah they’re 100% bots, you see them highlight the hero power every few seconds where it’s trying to repress it and that’s all they do the whole game.
The actual dumbest thing about those bots being in ranked is that there’s an easier way to farm XP that doesn’t grief anybody, so imo it’s now just pure toxicity and those accounts should be banned and feel stupid about not farming the easy way.
this is the standard blizz reply, admittedly because they dont want ppl accused of cheating publicly without cause.
that said the channel to expose botters (which I have used with hearthpwn replays to back my reports) seemed to make no difference
now we have a “recent opponents” button but we cant use it to report despite the fact that Blizz can see the games and can act accordingly.
I am not sure why, hopefully it is a “work in place” thing thus am hoping for the future. the bots seem to have repopped in the last 2-4 months
I’m not working for Blizzard. But I do know the rules that apply here. I pointed the out to you so you have the choice whether you want to comply or whether you want to choose to willingly keep breaking them. Your choice, and not my problem.
I also told you the channel where to report cheating. You will not get any feedback on these reports, ever. No idea why you interpret it as not taking action. We simply don’t know.
Finally, Blizzard has announced that they are working on an in-game reporting system and we already see first traces of this in the game client.
Its sure botting I see it a lot. But it’s a sure win at least. It just takes so much time. I have reported it way back, but they doesn’t seem to care like with most other things

why u have a report button when u cant even report a player? its true season is again 3-4 decks. thank god there are mercenaries and u can do some fun there. only thing that keeps me in the game and play sometimes
