Lose 1 game = forced to play bots

What is this? I lose ONE game and i’m instaqueued into a brainless bot that does nothing but waste time for 5 minutes, they lose 100% of the time, just throw away their cards, are named ‘‘SneakyTurtle’’ or ‘‘MagicPants’’ etc, always the same rigmarole, play 1 player, if i happen to lose next game is 100% a bot.

Can you opt out of this? I’d rather lose all my stars and have a 10% winrate than be relegated to some sort of kids playpen because the game deems ONE loss too much to face real players

You must have a low MMR. Once your MMR gets higher, you will never see the bots.

Of course i am going to have low MMR, i’m trying to play a lightshow meme mage deck, but before you simply accepted that, you played a tier 5 deck you accepted sitting on a rank floor until you played meta decks

I did a push for legend in wild last year, got it playing even hunter, boring but efficient deck, if i wanted to have fun i would play some meme deck and just take a 30% winrate, it’s ok, that’s part of the game, try that now, you’re FORCED by the game to play an actual robot opponent every other game

But now? If i so much as DARE to not play a deck that regularly climbs the ranks (read hyperoptimized aggro) i am forced to endure a brainless 0% loss chance actual AI game as some sort of punishment for not playing a meta deck? What kind of condescending game design is this

I play my own custom decks, I don’t net deck. But keep your assumptions going. My MMR is high, I have been playing since 2015.

No, there is no way to opt out of getting bot opponents.
Blizzard introduced bots to prevent overly long queue times. You are not paired to a bot because you lost your last game, but because no human opponent of your own rank and/or MMR was found within short enough time.

As BigDaddyRob indicates, bots are only used in the lower rank/MMR regions. In higher ranks/MMR, there are sufficient human players available that bots are not needed.
