Mage's Imbue Hero Power

Mage’s Imbue Hero Power is among the weakest compared to other classes in Hearthstone. One reason is imho its inconsistent functionality in certain scenarios. For instance, if the hero power is upgraded to level 7, but there are already 7 minions on the board, activating it will only deal damage without summoning Wisps due to lack of space. This issue is especially pronounced when the hero power is activated twice in a turn. Other classes’ abilities consistently operate at full strength regardless of board state.​

I propose modifying the mechanic: if there’s no room to summon Wisps, each unsummoned Wisp instead grants +1/+1 to existing Wisps on the board. This mirrors the functionality of the Hunter spell R.C. Rampage.​

Additionally, I believe that Aessina and Spirit Gatherer could benefit from buffs. Aessina often enters play too late to make a significant impact, and Spirit Gatherer currently doesn’t better Bitterbloom Knight. So this card can also be buffed.

Though I would also propose a bit of an interaction with the Wisp card itself to facilitate this: If you try to play a Wisp card and the board is full, it instead acts like a spell and gives any wisps on the board +1/+1.
