Allow a player to search for games based on:
- disallowed: cards, classes, portrait styles
- speed of player
- average match length
Rather than segregate the players into Wild or Standard, allow players to customise what games to search for.
Instead of having to ‘concede’ matches where the other player uses cards which I do not wish to play against, or is too slow to play versus, or is playing a class which I disagree with the existence of; I should be able to search for games which I would actually want to play.

The queues would be unbearabley long.
Currently there are ideas floating around on the Hearthstone dev team’s twitter accounts about a “grace period” when facing the same class multiple times in a row. Nothing confirmed yet but we might see something in the future.
Yes, it would definitely use for everyone if the matchmaking could pay attention to do not give 2 more of the same class, deck style to the player if he has just lost a match in a hopeless battle against it… It is insane when I lose against a class 2 matches in one row, and the matchmaking just give me the 3rd one to make me lose one more… That is the point where I leave the game for the rest of the day instead of breaking my fist and my table because of this unfair matching… That is just making me mad, mainly because I play own created deck, not meta… putting my heart and soul into it… and then just comming this lose series because the matchmaking is analysing my deck and knows exactly what enemy give me to make me lose when the matchmaking is decided to block my progress for the rest of the day… and making me believe that my deck is not good enough… but I know that is no right because I am planning my deck very careful. I am at the 175th deck at the moment since I returned to the game 1 year ago. Thats how I figured out that, the matchmaking is working like that… when it wants to block your progress, then it will… no matter how good you are or how OP your deck is.
I dont get why threads like these pop up, tweets, seems like people keep asking stuff like that. My simple opinion is just No,
No i dont want a system like that it would create long ques , and ruin the experience for everyone
You asked to ban specific cards or players who take their time to think, that is extreme and too complicated
Even if i consider banning a class is exploitable cause if your deck is hard countered by a single class only and from the rest 8 classes 6 are easy to beat and 2 are 50/50…then the legend rank will be filled from unworthy players
When you ask something like this you ask for the game to be easier for you, just no, play the game and if you want the highest rewards get good and when you reach them cause they are not impossible you will feel proud
At this point ppl will ask to start each month from the same rank i reached last month do 5 wins and get the chest…lets all be legend with no effort
And this is why we get aggro meta after aggro meta after aggro meta

If you read what i said right i didnt mean its complicated to take long turns and think …i was reffering to what the author said about banning those players and the system banning those players would be too much complicated
I wish there would be a custom game mode where people could host and join games.
manz wanna ban guff druid blad
Run your own inn, you mean?

Like Fireside Gatherings? Yes, I think that could be a good starting point. First make it so that anyone from anywhere can join. And then they just need to give the host proper customization options somehow. I know it’s probably not so easy, but that would be my dream. I would love to spend money on such a feature.
Yes please, might as well. Currennt matchmaking is absolutely horrible. Especially with it resetting every month. I would rather have a longer queue time than see the same OP standard decks steamrolling wild before they are finally nerfed before the next expansion hits and something else OP comes out.
Having the option to ban the current expansion or certain mechanic (questlines) would be very welcome to actually enjoy wild and play the deck you want to play.
I know standard will stay a thing to encourage whales to buy the latest 80 euro gold card pack to roflstomp free players with the new OP meta. But wild should have some sort of filter options to encourage playing something you made yourself instead of just the same old copy paste metas.
