This card feels a little busted for how much damage and board presence it can sustain with the 3 dmg, I feel it should only be allowed to hit minions not face.
Flamewaker was deemed to be too strong for mage with such low cost spells yet this card which has a more powerful effect and is super easy with the mech reductions available.
rant over.
I agree except for the “flamewaker was deemed too strong” argument. That card has never been touched, so if anything that’s an argument that the shark is fine

Flamewalker was infinate damage where shark is locked in 18 damage for one , or a highroll of playing 1 after another then 5 mechs for 33 damage counting face and board. Its fine as it is and if they nerf it then mech mage is killed as an archetype. For the first time in forever we get new archetypes in both wild and standard enjoy it and try a new deck .
It’s not just Mecha Shark, but Seafloor Gateway and Security Automoton need to be looked at.
Seafloor Gateway is too powerful. There’s too much synergy between all mechs, and they cost nothing when discounted.
They also need to address Hunter’s Questline to slow down its progression, do something about Oracle of Elune, Guff, the Paladin hero card and Nellie.
I think then we’ll be looking at a healthier meta.
They need to nerf warlock curses, which feel completely uninteractive to play against.

keep almost full hand and its an instant counter.
Curse warlocks have 90% loss rate vs quest hunter because curses work towards their quest.
They cant do squat against high hp decks.
Curses are not the problem my boi
If you play no cards, you also lose.
It’s 75/25 which in HS is pure domination, but 90% is unheard of for any real deck.
54.4%wr against CONTROL Warrior.
I don’t particularly have a problem with the curses…yet.
