Has anyone else had an issues with their battleground perks not working since the upgrade?
I can see they are still there but i’m only getting the option for two out of the four characters

They 're only valid till the next expansion. Since the new expansion was introduced today, you’ll have to pay for them again.

this is the the stupidest move I ve ever seen, If I would act with my customers like that, I could close my company.

Its just like a battle pass, most games have it, Team Fight Tactics, Fortnite, list goes on.
Its not a requirement to play, you just get “perks”.
If you dont think its worth £15, dont buy it
i know that.but I ve alr4eady spend it twice? so, we have to spend by every new collection? pretty sad for always the same, and 4x arena tickets … come on

How do you expect they to make money off of the battlegrounds mode?
It’s not like they were hiding the fact that it only lasts for one expansion.
That being said, I stand by what I’ve said before where I don’t think it’s worth the £££ and gold wise it’s only fine if you only play battlegrounds as it’s extremely easy to get the gold needed.
If you play both modes it kinda sucks, although you do now get enough between expansions to get all the commons/rares and the battlegrounds pass, it will kinda strangle your resources though so you won’t be able to craft more than 1 legendary or 4 epics per expansion, without dusting non-duplicates.
Just a choice you have to make and I’ll take the extra 25 packs.
I’m not sure how clear it was made in game that it was only temporary. I don’t have any issues paying for features normally, this just caught me out.

It did clearly say but it was definitely worded ambiguously (can’t remember the exact wording but it didn’t say specifically “on the next expansions release” but instead “at the end of Outland expansion”, which does mean the same thing but you can try and make it mean something else), which is why I looked it up at the time.

@lnxay If you solely play BGs, you can’t complete dailies unless you’re dragged back to Classic Mode. 10 gold every 3 wins in BGs can’t be compared to Classic since there’s only ladder so the more you climb, the higher the probability of not achieving top 4 and games last so long, while in typical HS you can faceroll casuals in dt with Aggro till you hit daily cap.
Individual ‘choices’ don’t confute the fact they 're greedy. That’s two independent from one another concepts. Also, maximum profit isn’t necessarily achieved through milking your fanbase.
They definitely are. Now, whether it’s ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ being greedy prerequires defining morality, which upon individuals may constructively disagee.
Oh no, you have to grind a maximum 15 min per week, the horror. If you do 3 dailies per week you’ll have way more than 2500 gold, so you just have re-roll until you get 3 quests that line up and then lose 3 games. If you’re a constructed player, you have to complete every daily, regardless of whether they suit you or not. It’s not even close as to what is more effort to be f2p.
It’s really a scammer tactic by Blizzard not showing a CLEAR warning that the pass is temporary especially if you buy it a few days before the last “expansion” ends.
Once you grow into an adult and start to understand the basic fundamentals of business, shareholders and profit and loss etc you will understand why companies charge for what they believe will generate money.
Businesses do not run on farts and rainbows.
so with your logic Blizzard may as well charge 10 bucks per pack simply cause ‘bUiSiNeSsEs DoNt RuN oN rAiNbOwS’. There’s supposed to be an equilibrium point you know. 2.5k for 2 extra slots - let alone it was never strictly stated they 're temporary - is lame. Period.

I must say, I never been furious but now I am. I agree, when I bought that expensive 20 euros Tavern pass assume its for Battlegrounds for good… IT DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT NEXT EXPANSION. I been loyal Blizzard supporter ever since World of Warcraft early days, I never encountered anything like this. I either get my perks back that I paid for or deserve to get my 20 euros back. I am beyond words.

Get the Tavern Pass and receive a bounty of perks for Hearthstone that last from today until the launch of the next Expansion. For Battlegrounds, get Discover Four, Hero Early Access, Advanced Stats, and Visual Emotes. For Arena, get four entry tickets.

I will explain this simple business transaction/model for you.
Blizzard design Battlegrounds, Board make decision probably months before release that they will adopt a pass type model that will gauge players buy in.
Judging by how many players buy it (as they have all stats) they either continue with that price or review it.
Charging 10 bucks per pack, likely wouldn’t get buy in, so thats why its not priced at that.
Honestly, its just a very basic model
