More deck slots

Will Blizzard ever add this thing to the game
? Honestly, who tf cares about a stupid random card back feature when players are struggling to stay within the 18 decks limit.

Remember when there were 9?

How does that help to solve the problem?

Its not a problem to begin with but an issue for some players. (Not judging)

If you dont play all 18 different decks in one session its easy and reasonable to copy all your deckcodes in a word document and copy paste from there everytime you want to play something different

They already did, a few years ago. I think it was 2015. Before that we had 9 slots and lots of people complaing. Now we have 18 and far less complaints / request for more slots.
I think the lower number of requests for more slots is largely due to the deck export feature, whhich was added in 2017. I personally do not see any reason to have more deck slots. I have a large collection of decks stored outside Hearthstone, and it’s easy for me to copy/paste a deckstring to rebuild a deck I want to revisit. I personally prefer that over having to wade through perhaps dozens of screens to find the deck I want to queue up.

So for me personally, I would not care if Blizzard decides to add more slots. I probably would not use them.
For Blizzard management, they should probably make this investment is that makes a sufficient number of customers happy, or invest the money elsewhere if that elsewhere is more important to a larger number of customers. So it is good that you made your voice heard.

I would actually use more slots if they added them, but not for “real” decks. Would just be the throw away decks I sometimes make to do dailies, that I find kinda annoying to make on my break at work where I only have time to play a few games on mobile.

9 was a joke after the game moved to 2 formats but 18 in general for me is fine, because I have no problem tearing decks down and starting from scratch when I’m on my computer.

I usually have around 14 to 17 slots used, approximately 5 of them are active decks, 5 are decks that were active and consistent in the past and sometimes I use to do quests or 'cause I like them, and the rest are experiments and deletable when more space is needed.

I’m fine with 18 slots, I would find more useful a sorting feature. We could sort them in classes, or in active/successful testing/experimental, or any other personal criteria. We can live without it though.

I don’t think I’ve ever had more than 7-8 active decks at any one time :joy:
