I doubt it will see much play in constructed. Probably a good card in Arena thanks to its flexibility though.
This is just dirty. 3 damage to all minions is most likely a lot more effective than Hunter’s 2 damage to all enemies. Just another board clear for mage.
The secret is pretty strong. I can see this card giving ammunition to slower Mage builds.
The legendary is quiet expensive but usable. I wonder if it wouldn’t be an auto include in many decks if it was a 4/4 costing 5 mana or a 3/3 costing 4 mana. It would be an auto-include if one of the things you could choose was lifesteal.
The secret is pretty good and the legendary i can see making a fine addition to shudderwock as replacement volcanosaur battlecry for standard since shudderwock getting taunt or divine shield makes it pretty strong
the secret could be very bad, you have to take a hit for it to activate so your opponent with a small board can push his biggest minion into your face and then make themselves a new board
this is good against zoolock, token druid, all muloc decks and bad against all hunters and rogues, so I don’t see this being played seriously too soon
it’s because they said branching paths is the only card that will have that keyword, you can see t hey love doing this kind of things as they made witch’s brew and made it repeatable instead of just typing echo
yes he would, as the secret is never vaporize, even if it was vaporize we’re speaking a 3/3 a 3/2 and a 4/4 on board and he attacks with the 3/2 then he attacks with the 4/1, this secret is just underwhelming
Flame Ward is nuts and will definitely see play, Secret Mage is getting some crazy stuff with Flakmage and the 5 mana card.
Siamat is… okay. Phrasing is garbage and should absolutely be changed to Choose Twice, but it’s a solid option for most decks, providing versatility and an answer to most situations. Want pressure? DS+Windfury! Want to live? DS+Taunt! Want tempo? DS+Rush/Rush+Windfury!
Now I’m not saying this’ll be a second Zilliax, but it’s probably a card I’d craft at launch, it’s just really good.
I don’t usually read comments since it’s mostly chit chat that belongs on Discord or something, so please explain.
Seriously though, this card is really nice. It allows you to come back on the board after your opponent has taken control of it, and the only way to play around it is by buffing your minions/not attacking face, which gives you more than enough time to just play a board clear. Sure, anything with 4+ health kinda counters it, but 4-health minions will usually be alone by turn 3 (or have very tiny bois beside it), meaning you can just Frostbolt + Shooting Star to get rid of it + any other small minions.
