TLDR of what lost me a few games:
If you play Flare when your enemy has a Never Surrender secret up it will get proc’ed, and the rest of secrets he had will be removed.
But when you play Flare on Cat Trick (which is triggered by playing a spell too) - it goes away. Which interaction is correct and pls fix?

I think this is a bug and they will fix it soon, because it works on both Cat Trick and Counterspell yet it doesnt for Never Surrender.

What you’ve missed is that Counterspell, Never Surrender, Mana bind, etc have “WHEN enemy casts a spell” and cat trick has “AFTER”

Either you a are just spit balling here or just trying to fill out the necessary character requirements for a comment because just yesterday a hunter removed my CS with flare in wild
Nope. It obviously triggers it but it’s the flare that gets countered i.e. it doesn’t draw a card.

Did the Flare remove your other secrets as well, and draw the Hunter a card?
Or did your Counterspell trigger (causing it to remove itself) because Flare is, after all, a spell?
In the former case, that would be a bug as CS is supposed to counter Flare. In that case please post a bug report at https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/hearthstone/c/bug-report (and do include screenshots or hsreplay.com link if available)

It’s not a case of agreeing or not agreeing. There are simply two types of secrets: the “when/whenever” type and the “after” type.
In the first case, you get the following sequence:
1: Flare gets played
2: Secret gets triggered
3: If Flare still exists, the effect of Flare happens and destroys all remaining secrets.
In the case of an “after” secret, you get this sequence:
1: Flare gets played
2: The effect of Flare happens and destroys all secrets.
Counterspell and Never Surrender are in group 1, so they trigger before Flares effect. Cat Trick is in the second group, so it gets destroyed by Flare.

CS was my only active secret at the time
It is the case when someone insults me right after someone else argued to the facts and proved me wrong. In the video everything is pretty clear, i dont need multiple people explain it to me over and over again, maybe i was focused on something else and didnt see CS popping up or the card draw.
My issue is with the previous comment, the arguement was already over but there he shows up and starts throwing insults. He didnt even need to write anything after Ixnay’s reply but no, he has to throw insults, he just cant sleep if he wont.

What is the insult here? At that point of the argument i was unaware the fact that it actually did not work and you didnt present any facts towards the subject, you only said it didnt work rather than “how” or “why”
