Looks like an interesting quest with a fun hero power

We got our mandatory 1-cost 1/1 minion, honestly i like it, not much else to say except every murlock deck will be running this

I like all of these. Not sure why, but I do. Murmy is a neutral Enchanted Raven in two bodies. The Reborn mechanic also helps explain the new Shaman 7 mana AoE. I sense a Control Shaman that can deal with Reborn in the making…
Darn it! You were faster…
Well, I’m just gonna copy-paste what I said in my thread:
This quest, or more specifically the murloc one-drop, gave me this this itch in my little toe telling me that Team 5 is trying to make Murloc Paladin a thing, again.
Murmy, funny name by the way, seems like a solid, sticky one-drop, basically identical to Mecharoo but with Murloc tag. If Mecharoo sees play, you bet this card will as well. Especially in Murloc decks, obviously.
But you don’t care about that! You care about the quest!
At first glance it seems rather powerful. It doesn’t say “random friendly minions”, so I assume you can pick which one to copy. At first minions like Mechanical Whelp and Mechano-Egg comes to mind due to their Deathrattles summoning powerful stuff to your board. But I’m sure there are many other crazy targets and combos that I can’t think of from the top of my head right now.
Or, assuming that Team 5 is trying to make Murloc Paladin relevant again, you would want to copy something like Murloc Tidecaller, Murloc Warleader or Murloc Tastyfin.
The Quest doesn’t seem that hard to do but bare in mind that you must PLAY the Reborn minions, so summoning won’t count. Which from balance perspective makes sense because otherwise Reborn minions would, theoretically, count towards the quest twice.
Definitely think it heralds the return of SOME kind of aggro/tempo paladin. I mean, the hero power alone being used on cards like Mechano Egg is gonna be a scary prospect
This quest also explains why Finley looks younger in this expansion: he has taken up the study of necromancy, making mummies, resurrecting highlander decks and regaining his youth in a fishy way!
Shame that you don’t want to play Finley at the same time with the Quest since they both give you a new hero power. Sure, you could play Finley first before completing the quest, but I don’t think it’s going to work well considering you most likely need duplicates to complete the quest. And I think we can all agree that the Quest’s hero power is more powerful/fun than any of the upgraded class hero powers.
XD i just happened to refresh the page at the right time and decided to make a post, however theres still 1 more card to be releaved today, aldo i think for the next reveals we should be a bit more patient so we dont make multiple posts about them and just 1 or 2 big posts
Murmy is Possesed Villager except it’s a murloc, so it’s power level is dependent on if a class gets a reprint of Darkshire Councilman.
Paladin quest relies too much on Reborn cards that are printed, which will most likely NOT be printed in future expansions. This severely limits the Quest’s card pool and takes away variance in deck-building, so I feel like it’s going to be pretty boring.
