Player report option

Hey fellow HS players.

I like to fill up spare time with playing a hearthstone match. Altho there are just a few things a player can do to act “unsportsmanlike”, I would suggest a ‘report’ option for the small amount but kinda frustrating issues which kinda ruin the fun for me as a casual player.

The 2 big things I find most toxic and don’t really like is when players have the need of either spamming wow emotes on their hero or when they decide to play Odd-warrior at late evenings to make people concede because they stall the game so long and it’s taking away all your time and fun.

I think if Blizz added a ‘report’ option it would make alot of players maybe change their toxic behaviour so we would encouter less stallers and stuff like that.
Players flagged with a report-tag (behind the scenes) can then be taken action against in a way Blizzard thinks is best to improve the community.
(For example: giving them priority to be matched with other players which are also flagged as ‘toxic’)

Any other people who think this report option can be a good thing? Feel free to (dis)agree and motivate why or why not.

I thing the problem is too many false reports. The amount of players who would report people just because they lost or just because they like to be toxic or because they’re fed up or seeing quest mage etc would be ridiculously high.

I agree with Ixnay on this. Toxic behaviour is very subjective. Many people consider playing quest mage/WL toxic atm, so they would report ppl just for playing those decks (as you would report a guy just for playing odd-warrior in what you consider inappropriate time). I personally would report people for playing Illidari Inquisitor (as I deeple detest that card).

Yea, the report is useless even if it would be a roping bot to report. Blizzard only bans ppl for rude language, not making the game worse for all.

Blizzard does not even ban ppl who have been caught on video cheating/botting/exploiting. Totally useless option.
