they should nerf the reward from plus 3 spell damage to 2 spell damage

That questline is really hard to complete if you don’t get the right cards. Compared to others the reward is about adequate.
Are you insane? How is it hard getting spells when legit your whole deck is spells? Imagine playing this trash thinking youre actually using your brain. Deck should be trashed, ruining the game atm
Quest Mage is not easy to pilot.Many people are just good at playing with this deck.
You don’t have any guarantee to draw exactly what you want. You have to pay attention to the spells you cast, so as not to over-commit to playing spells just for removal.
That just not true, i just faced a complete degenerate who spammed his freeze removal on 1 drops, did not matter at all. Sure he could have gotten super unlucky and not pulled any of his insane draw cards but odds are he gets atleast one wich means game over for most decks. Trash design.
So you do nothing to prevent him from finishing you off and then you come and complain for losing. That sounds to me like you and your deck is the problem. It is a Otk deck. Drawing is the gameplan because he has to draw through most of his deck to find the pieces to be able to finish you off. HE HAS TO FIND ALL THE PIECES TO THE PUZZLE. Sitting there and waiting for him to finish you off will get you dead. What was my solution to this? Rogue and
Hardly disagree its not that hard, no deck has guaraantees to draw what they need its about how consistant the deck is and mage is consistant , you dont even need to manage your damage resources cause ignite its infinate. and there is a track to see what spells you want, they might stugle with frost spells if opponent dont play minions and can go face without attacking but the only deck that can even try to do that and win is quest hunter other decks just lose from inactivity
You do know that they in most cases they already drawn all pieces of the puzzle by turn 7 max and you can be dead by turn 7 or 8 max 9? the deck is consistant with draw, control and mana cheat
turn 8 is nothing. Pirate quest finishes you by turn 6. People this is nothing new to the game. Its the same power creep just in a different color.
Pirate warrior got buffed yeah but i never lost to him by turn 6 tbh , it must have been a game where you draw nothing
I ran up to diamond last month killing at least 50% of my opponents by turn 6 or 7. Mind you this was on asia server and in wild which if im not mistaken is only a difference of about 4 cards if not just 2. Dont get me wrong i am not a fan of the questlines because it streamlines the deck in a non creative way that doesnt make it fun to play, but the cards have been designed. All i am saying is this power level is nothing new to hearthstone. Also you wont believe me but i believe the strongest version of quest mage has not even been reached. A much more consistant version mind you.
Ok wild player , i am also a wild player mostly , i agree pirate is op there and only hard loses to quest hunter but i aam not a fun of that either i used to get legend with fun decks in wild but since this expansion launched i use a quest line deck and after legend i try things , but i have reached legend with decks like reno shudder shaman, there is no chance i could have fun like that in the current meta. Also i believe most topics are consatrated on standard the hope for us wild players is long gone
There is only one non questline deck i think that will make it to legend in wild and that is resurrect priest. I might be wrong. I am not talking about the odd deck. I mean on a consistant level. Also since you are playing wild too maybe you will agree that the moment we start thinking like that where standard rules all is the moment where the rightful king of all game modes which is wild loses. Remember standard was brought out as a easier way to play the game to make it easier for newer players to adjust. Lol and they are already complaining xD Wait until they play in wild.
Cancer priest as i call my deck , yeah the resurect priest is the one who can beat both hunter and pirate but the problem is you need to have a good starting hand especially with hunter since he can just go face , for me the problem deck in wild is ignite mage especially since most of them cheat with animations. My pirate warrior runs a eater of secrets just for them but hunter and priest cant do that

I made a questline mage in wild today where so far only one deck even touched me. Cant remember which one that was tho. Also what server do you play and what is your tag. Maybe we can continue some of these discussion ingame. You seem like a cool bro.
