I am playing Hearthstone since 2016 and want to continue and having fun.
So, sometimes I want to buy pre-purchase bundles or the new system like battle pass, etc. But here in Turkey, your pricing policy is extremely high. The mega bundle was 750 TL, Standard one was 370 TL and now tavern pass is 190 TL… C’thanks is also 190 TL…
I mean think about the bundle as 370€, do you think can people buy it? I don’t think so.
Here in Turkey bundle prices are really really impossible to buy. It’s 370TL (standard) and 750TL (mega) I mean as you can see we don’t earn a lot of money salary in a month. In Europe, the minimum wage is about 1500 Euro and in Turkey, it’s about 2300 TL. In Europe, they can buy a bundle for 45 euro easily (and people are even protesting that price) but in Turkey, nobody can buy the bundle 750 TL or even 370 TL…
It’s too difficult
I am curious about the other countries that do not use € or $. How is the price there?
I write to the support a lot of times but they said “we can’t do anything, just write there” And I am writing here if anyone interest in the hearthstone team…
Hello Hearthstone devs. do you aware of the prices in Turkey? And do you have any plan to change it?

A troubled situation.

Classic, I don’t think they will make a change.
It is very difficult when it comes to money.

Well, 750 TL (TRY) is how much? around 80 EUR?
I live in a country with its own currency, but I buy Blizzard stuff in EUR, not sure why I cannot buy with my own currency, but I guess it does not matter, it would be an equivalent of EUR sum.
Ok, now, you say that some people should get things cheaper? Based on what? And shouldn’t it be done for each country in that case? And again, based on what? Average income in that country? Not every country using EUR has the same salaries as others. Thinking about it, it is probably better to have the same price for everyone. Otherwise, people would complain why it is cheaper for other people.
EDIT: I checked this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_minimum_wages_by_country
and Turkey has greater min. wage than my country
The price of the game is increasing rapidly.
I have always paid for the mega bundle and what ever else comes to the store but I am starting to question whether or not to continue as it’s getting ridiculous now.
I spent £75, mega bundle, £17 battle pass, £17 cthanks bundle and I still don’t have every Cardin the expansion. And there is going to be a mini expansion in a month or so with more cards. Damn this game is pricey.
Good content though. Blizzard know this so they will keep on charging and those who can afford will keep on paying.
Sadly, hearthstone is becoming a rich mans game, a bit like F1. Only rich people can go watch it. I might go ask my boss for a pay rise so I can keep playing Hearthstone.

Well, I think that in the previous years, it was also impossible to get full set just by buying a megabundle. I wonder what impact of the miniset will be regarding the price. Anyway, with the same money spent (bundle, pass, cthanks), I am at 17 legendaries, that is a similar result to previous expansions, so I do not complain, although I have less epics than in the previous ones.
I understand what you are saying. But there are a lot of game platforms like steam, epic, or smite’s platform. I mean they don’t use currenncy for game price because it’s really high. They do Turkey prices more like euro/dollar x2.
Yes 1 Euro about 9,4 TRY that’s why I write minimum wage here is not “average europe country x 9,4”
If currency go higher blizzard change it instantly but when it goes down I can’t see that speed
At the end it’s just a game, not a trade. So if they want, can change the policy about prices.
The no triplicate rule made collecting the whole set way less expensive, but it’s still way more than it should be.
Mega bundle + f2p grind should get you nigh on every card but you’re still gona be missing maybe 10 legendaries and a few epics (depending on what you craft with your duplicate dust).
It’s expensive everywhere. I still play because I’ve always been happy with the f2p model I.e. I get enough for the effort I put in (galakronds awakening aside) but the bang for your buck has always been terrible.

It would be a miracle to get a discount.

Hearthstone has become one big cash grab. Buying the mega bundle is like a slot machine and too much of a gamble. I do not think it is value for money spending £70 on a bundle to end up with as little as 3 - 4 legendaries.
In America for instance the mega bundle cost $75. Converting the currency means it should cost £56 here in the UK.

Well, you are totally right.
But I am sure their solution to this will be:
HERE IS MINI BUNDLE
BUY PACKS NOW

Yes, if they have profit they do prices according to currency. But if they don’t have any profit, they don’t care about the currency.
That’s really painful to know.

turkey has the lowest minimum wage out of all other european countries, nearly 300 euros and most places don’t even pay that.
spending 10 euro on the game is an entire weeks worth of regular groceries.
in fact it’s not the minimum amount paid but actually the standard amount
IDK, wikipedia says something different: minimum wage in Turkey is not the lowest and some countries even do not have any minimum wage.
This being said, I believe you that the average income in Turkey is way lower than in other european countries, but, well, that’s life.
