Reborn minions in the gamemode battleground should keep their buffs when they are reborn.
There are only 2 minions who currently have reborn and 1 hero with the power of reborn.
Hero
- The Lich King (Reborn Rites)
Minion
- Bronze Warden (Reborn, Divine Shield)
- Micro Mummy (Reborn, +1 Attack for random friendly minion)
By keeping the buffs on minions that are reborn would create another meta/strategy. At its current state reborn minions serve no particular purpose other than spawning a basic minion with 1hp, they are most of the time useless and quickly swapped for better minions.
Any thoughts from the community, good/bad idea?
Bronze warden is often the dragon of choice in a menagerie build. Having to kill it 4 times would be crazy strong. Would have to be changed to at least a 5, probably a 6 star minion. Lich King, who is already the 4th best hero, would need to be nerfed into the ground.
Making them reborn with the same stats would be a little broken. It would mean every reborn minion is worth two fully stated minions in the late game (4 if you consider Divine Shield from Warden, George, or other means). I would see it like that only if there would be a possible counter like a Silence effect, otherwise it would be more annoying. But still it would differ too much from the original effect from standard, so i doubt the idea would even pass.
Maybe a possible effect that could be added in the future in a new keyword is something that makes them respawn with half stats. Full stats, especially considering heavily buffed minions, is really strong.
