One exemple, Warframe. Its not a card game but i can gice it as an example, if you know what and when to farm you can get skins and cosmetics worth of 400-500$ in a day or two, completely free. Now, why isn’t that company complaining about costs and cash flow looking to thw fact that you yes can get absolutely everything for free. And in a decent amount of time. They even afford to create a android client for full cross platform
Well, after Hearthstone I’m actually quite into board games. I’m an active member at Boardgamegeek and have published variants for games like Cartographers, Roll Player and Sagrada.
I really like video games too, in general, but I’m not looking for other CCGs.
Currently I’m playing Elden Ring and Cuphead, alongside Heartstone.

You’ve never been able to do that with wild stuff. There was a point where you couldn’t get wild packs with gold either…hey look another example of a f2p friendly change (only cause the first legendary in 10 you can farm, otherwise standard packs better investment).
I don’t count a choice they made 6 years ago that doesn’t affect standard at all as a “new paywall”. In fact it’s weird that they don’t allow them to be bought with gold as a sink. Like League of Explores where the 4 legendaries are part of the core set currently (f2p friendly change).
