So it’s been a while since I’ve played. I’ve dissed all my old wild deck rare, epic and legendaries. I bought 15 packs to get myself started again. Now I’m sitting on 15k dust and asking myself what cards I should absolutely craft…
Any advice?
Bit of an awkward time to ask as the next expansion is out in a couple of weeks, plus it’s the last one of “the year”.
My advice would be to play around for a bit and see what decks look like fun to play, that don’t have a lot of cards that rotate, whilst you try and get the legendary from the first 10 packs of each set you’ve missed. Then you’ll be able to make a whole deck whilst still having a lot of dust left over to craft a new deck during the the next expansion and then another at the start of the new year in April*.

Every set you are guaranteed a legendary in the first 10 packs you open (so could be in any pack from 1-10). Which is way better than the normal 40.
Best case you get something to build a deck around. Worst case you get the best gold to dust ratio you’re gona get.
Are there no rzally nice to have legendary minions for all classes? Like the lich king back in the days…
Siamat is the best all purpose. Zephrys is the strongest but only goes in highlander decks, so you need the other cards (like Dragonqueen Alexstraza). Polkelt is a very strong card in certain decks. Kronx should be in every Galakrond deck.

There isnt any " 1 must get legendary". To craft any viable deck, usually takes 2-5 legendaries depending on deck.
But it looks like you are doing well since you are reaching platinum. Im curious what deck you are running…
I was running a libram paladin who dis great up until the expansion pack. Now I’m running a totem shaman, but I’m having difficulties with all the DH agression out there. Made another post about it…
Yeah, DH aggro is a killer. But Hunter is just as aggressive. The biggest joy i get is beating them. Currently playing a ramp maly/yogg druid. Fun. But win percentage? Probably in the 40s.
The new patch helped it seems I got Plat 1 for a moment there…
I have a little question. Is there a way to get an overview of the number of cards you’re missing from each expansion? Deciding which packs to buy… I could just count the cards again 1 by 1 for every rarity and every expansion but that took me way to long last time…
Well, the easiest way is to use a tracker. I am using HSReplay decktracker which uploads my collection info to their site, where it is possible to see it, filter it, etc.
the other option is to check the collection achievements ingame, but I think it counts unique cards, not copies, so not that good, just an overal info.

Type “missing” in the search bar.
Make sure you’re on crafting, so ones you’ve got none of also show up.
So for instance if you wanted to know how many rares from dark moon you were missing:
Select dark moon faire > type “missing rare” in the search bar.
Was a handy tool when I did a stats post every expansion pack opening to see what I was missing (how do you open 140 packs and get 0 flanking strikes!) but since the no-triplicate rule came in, I only really use it to see if there’s anything fun that I’m missing that I’ve forgot about when updating wild decks.
