So I played the scavengers ingenuity card while mage had a secret on the board. My card should trigger “draw a beast and give it +3/+3.” His spell was netherwind portal which shouldn’t cancel my spell.
However my Phase Stalker didn’t get the +3/+3 but the mage got his 4 drop card.
This isn’t the first time this has happened playing against mage with this card. However this time I have screenshots but there doesn’t seem to be a way of uploading them. 
That’s weird. If you put a tilde (button next to 1 on a keyboard) at either end of the link you can post it.
I experienced the same thing, multiple times too
The text states 2 types 1 draw a card second get plus 3/3 that may be the reason. As 1 effect happens the other does not and so fourth.
I was going to suggest that you should post this to the Bug Report forum. But then I realised the report looks familiar. And indeed, you already have.
The hsreplay link you included with the bug report shows that the four beasts you have in your deck had all been either drawn or discarded (due to Tracking) when you played Scavenger’s Ingenuity. The Phase Stalker was already in your hand before you played it, not drawn as a result of the spell.

Yeah you’d already drawn both Phase Stalkers and discarded both Boars with tracking. So the scavengers ingenuity did nothing as you had no beasts left in your deck. Then you played the Phase Stalker that was already in your hand.
Thanks Big Hugger never really understand the tracker it just discards cards you need to win well every time for me. I have 4 beasts and tracker shows 3 (thanks tracker.)
Yes, Tracking does indeed discard the cards you don’t choose. That’s what it says on the card text. If you have a deck that needs specific cards to win, then running Tracking is a risk. It can help you find the cards you need, but it can also force you to discard something you want.
it works sometimes I had kill command and needed the boar to get the win and got it
