edited because Error! Error! Error!.
well,i think it was mentioned in an article one will not get copies of once owned cards until owned all from that rarity, but i was not sure it about all rarities or only common rare and epic.
yes but when you dust it you dont own it anymore so you can get it again
edit: ninja’ed by Toad
nope,at lower rarities any cards you got and dusted counts as once owned,i think.it was mentioned in an article on main page several weeks ago.
you’re right. I found it:
A few years back, we made changes to how opening card packs works to ensure that every time you got a Legendary card, it would be one that you didn’t already have. Starting March 26, we’re extending this to cards of all rarities!
Once this change goes live, you will no longer receive more than two copies of any Common, Rare, or Epic until you have owned two copies of all cards of that rarity in a set. Crafting a card counts towards acquiring it, and any cards you acquire and later disenchant (whether golden or non-golden) count as well. This means that if you get a card that you don’t want, you can disenchant it and you will not receive it again until you have all cards of that rarity from that set. This change does not affect the overall distribution of rarities in card packs.
they said they’ve extended this to all rarities. it includes legendaries then.
The second part mentions commons rares and epics ,but not legendaries, are you sure please it applies to all rarities then?Sorry if the question is dumb,i learned english from games only,so not always sure i understand everything well.
no worries. you’re not wrong in doubting this because they don’t explicitly mention which exact changes to card packs they implemented a few years back.
however, the quote says that those changes from a few years back are now extended to all rarities. so whatever those changes are, they are now the same across all rarities.
and since they describe what those changes exactly are, I think it’s pretty clear that this means it’s the same for legendaries.
so for me the case is crystal clear, but sometimes things can be misunderstood, either by the reader or the writer or both.
so if you need it in writing, I suggest to contact support over this. however, I’d be shocked if they didn’t mean it as they wrote it.
Ok,thanks,i will believe you then,no way i contact support,it would be disaster with my poor english knowledge,i guess, anyway. Will rather spend that time on dusting and crafting since have zero standard decks atm.
I considered the information about the new system confusing too. It’s clear how it will work for common, rare, and epic. It was clear how it worked for legendaries. But it’s unclear whether legendaries will now switch to the new system (where you can disenchant and won’t get them back until you own or have owned all of them) or stay as they were (where you are guaranteed to get one you don’t own right now).
However, I did read one post from someone who experimented.
A side effect of the old system was that once you own all legendaries from a set, you can disenchant one and then were guaranteed to get it back the next time you find a legendary. Some people used that to try to get a golden legendary: disenchant the plain version, open packs until you get a legendary again which was guaranteed to be the one you disenchanted, and hope it’s golden this time.
The post I read was from someone who tried that method after the new system was in place, and they reported that they got a totally different legendary. That would suggest that legendaries now use the same system as the other rarities.
I think a single post is not enough to draw conclusions, but I will say that there are at least signs that the method for legendaries might have changed.
i stand corrected, thank you
I don’t know if you’re serious here, but just in case you are: everything I’ve read from you is understandable without any effort.
you’re making small mistakes here and there (just like everyone else here), but they’re neither big nor annoying.
so you shouldn’t worry about your communication being a disaster because it’ll be fine.
Thanks,i am happy if learning a foreigh language from games only is sufficient, somehow, sounds like better method for me,than going to school,or something like that.
i agree with my frog mate here btw.
i as well never understood english in school … NEVER always worst possible grade
i learned it in front of the internet with a dictionary by my side and right now im speaking it rather flawlessly …
i also recomend watching movies with subtitles in your language helped me out a lot
