"This deck/archetype has 55+ winrate" is a lie

Only thing those social skills you claim to have will net you is a temporary posting ban for breaking the rules.

what rules did I break, and 2 days have passed. I am still here.

Well done for avoiding a forum ban, how’s your win rate doing?

Probably by the time you play it people know the deck and the best way to beat it. Even worse a very popular deck will change the meta and people will be playing decks specifically to beat you.

If Player A has 20% winrate and Player B has 85% winrate with same deck, they both will have 52% winrate on this deck, no?

Mine’s at 55% atm, to be fair it also has a reno hero card in it XD but great deck for havign fun, and annoying DH with freeze XD

Why do everybody always throw out “bad player”, when the truth is that everything depends on what you draw, and how the random cards that are produced by other cards are so importent for the chance that you win or loose.

Take me i play “elemental shaman”, and i lost alot of times, not because i play especially bad, but because of the opponent, just seems to get exactly the cards needed to stop any plan i had, or Tickatus just took the card needed to improve the strenght of my board.
So people can tell me 100 times, they win because they are godly players, but i will still say, that any metadeck from the net, depends on both skill and luck.

That exactly is correct. There definitely is some skill involved in HS even though there is a lot of RNG.

I was reading this whole thread and I find it funny. So here’s something to think about… I play my own version of Pirate Warrior in Wild currently over 90%WR. Does that mean I’m an Hearthstone god of sorts? Does that mean that the deck’s WR is 90%+? Does that mean that my losses are all RNG?

The whole discussion about WR is fine when we are comparing archetypes in a vacuum. Our own personal experience with the game, the meta, etc, shifts our success and failure. Even RNG that we discuss so much evens out over time. RNG is just a suitable excuse that is irrelevant for the long term results of a player playing a given archetype.

Another thing some people don’t understand is that the top streamers lose a fair amount of games as well. And it’s their job to play Hearthstone.
The reason you don’t see it is because they edit out their losses, or only upload their best win streaks. Unless their current topic is to show just how hilariously they lost.

Do you think Trump, for instance, is some Arena god who only makes 12 wins or bust?
Come on, guys, be reasonable. It’s a card game.

And just because I copied some netdeck that sports a 60% winrate does not mean I can pilot it to victory.

I was never a big Youtuber but I maintained a Wild YT channel for quite some time and I can confirm this. The only losses I uploaded were either because the gameplay itself was extremely interesting or the game was hilarious. The material that people want to see is either high-level play or funky stuff. You can’t show high levels of play on a loss and losses with funky stuff are often boring as hell.

Also, like it or not, no one follows someone that presents himself as a loser.
