I haven’t spent a penny on this game yet. I’ve just played casual for about a year now and I have a nice collection with plenty of good legendaries to build decks around.
I want to, though, when I have money to spare. It’s just such a good game and I’ve been playing it for so long it would be nice of me to contribute some of my money to keep the servers flowing. I’ll probably buy Naxxramas or Blackrock Mountain. Just any old adventure I missed.

Don’t forget that one legendary drop in first 10 packs of each expansion. If you’re new, You might wanna go back and get all those legendaries from Witchwood, Up until Uldum.
Hate to DE cards, But you gotta start somewhere. So jut DE a very few of them, Which you’re sure you would never need, Then search for budget decks and go for a well balanced one. You could take advantage of the remaining legendaries in your budget decks too.
When I first popped in the game before KoFT, I just went straight for the Mage class as I really loved Jaina from old WC days and she was also the starter character as well.
Luckily for me, The secret archetype was awesome and not the most expensive to build if you wanted to cut some big cards out.
Maybe you’re lucky, Cuz Secret Mage is sorta back in this new expansion. Not saying it’s the best way to go or even half as strong as Karazhan ~ KoFT Secret Mage, But still really good as a starter.
You do know you can reroll quests, right? A lot of quests don’t require you to win anymore

i mean in an apropriate tone there is no harm in friending people and ask them to loose a game or two for you so you can get the quest.

I agree with this guy abt how unfair the game is towards other players. ITS VERY IMBALANCE. most of the time I post my frustrations the admin always blocks my access to do replies or wat not. its always like that…they are scared the TRUTH will get to some of the players in here. its like they do not realize without complaints how can they improve the game??? ive spent money on this game and some blizzard games. its not like ive never spent money like some of the players here but now im inscure to spend more after witnessing the lousy game play this card game has to offer.i don’t wanna be scammed off my money. I already saw a post of one dude already saddened by buying packs and never got something that would’ve satisfied him. one more im curious abt?..I heard from a friend blizzard took this game to china…and im curious if this game is now influenced by the Chinese programmers or game developers. if it is then I wouldn’t be surprised why this game became a game for idiots instead of real skillful people. coz literally the new quest cards makes it even harder for rank 20 to stay in rank 19 now. just today I fought a paladin that used a card that filled up the deck with murlocs straight with their attack buffs and it made my jaw drop cause’ we haven’t even went pass the 5th crystal and it felt like we were already on the END GAME decks. like seriously? how many insane irrelevant cards are they going to put in this game? it started to not make sense anymore. like when is blizzard really going to listen to their customers. they are only focused on the few who actually spend money but ignores the rest of the potential buyers that could’ve add more to their cash box it feels like “hey lets focus on the 10% active buyers and ignore the 90% of the ones that’s still curious to spend their money on us” like seriously??? and admin please remove the feedback OPTION coz its pointless…youre asking for feedbacks but yet wont let customers like me complain and speak his mind but instead block my communication. it don’t make sense if none of ya’ll cant handle complaints. im not posting nudes here im posting my complaints for YOU to know and for those lousy game developers to know their mistakes so they can improve the game and not drag it down to trash world! which is happening now with these new cards spreading around. win ratio for players like me is 1:10 before this new cards came out it was 4:10 and it was still very bad interms of balance.
What I did to resolve the same frustrating issue of feeling powerless was:
I picked two classes I really like and decided to focus and only play THEM. (Or you can go with one main class and one semi-class. Where semi-class would stand for a class you won’t DE stuff from, but won’t craft anything for that class either at first)
I DEed all of the other classes’ cards, piled up quite the amount of dust. I sat down and analysed how to build the ultimate decks for these two classes. Figured out which cards would I need for the deck to work good overall. And built a deck for my first main class. And I began playing it all the time tweaking it slightly with every loss or a mailfunction I encountered.
In short it’s WAY EASIER to main one class in hearthstone rather than trying to play all of them at the same time. Because if you’d try to play every class - you will most likely never have a decent deck for either of your classes. But maining one or two classes is pretty much doable as a casual player and it will defenitely reduce the amount of frustration you are experiencing

thats an absolutly viable way to do it if you want.
For me i could live with 4 classes (Warrior <3, Hunter, Rogue Warlock) but i still try to find some joy in other classes as well even if i have a few i really really cant enjoy most of the time … (im looking at you malf and anduin)

first of all i did defenitly spend money on bliz games. Even on cosmetics in other games but in hearthstone im F2P now. just ot make it clear but doesnt really mean anything …
yeah i postet da video on how much that palacard can kick butts atm and im quite sure there will be a change… it costs normally 8 mana which it would be fine imo but with prismatic lense it can be rediciolus and im afraid more people will jump on that bandwagon. but you have to make up your mind here.

and blizzard is not only listening on customers, im very sure they stalking reddid and many sites which are dedicat to HS or other blizz games. In other Forums of their games they even talk to comunity and answer their questions
the reason why they dont do it here? i assume because of a ton of people complain and call them names and stuff but themself probably never run a buisness or dont know jack about the industry or any industry to begin with.
one guy called them out over a disconnect because apperantly blizz is an incompetent company because they cant fix that problem.
i mean he REALLY demanded that they fix a problem like it is nothing which can accour all over the world, namly speaking a few million people and it could also be his connection but still the devs are incompetent.

also im quite sure you messed up the numbers. that is just a assumption i addmit but i could very well imagine that a majority spend money on this game and far less people then 90% play it f2p
and also still then there are thousands of people complaining on a daily bases and im not even talking about the people who acutally take the time and try to find the right way to complain or report a bug. That means right forum and maybe even ask others before making a complaint/suggestion.
the content of the cardpacks is random but has a pity timer and an average amount of epics and legendaries. you can be on the highroll sometimes like i was this time or you can be unlucky like Chicharito who opened the same amount of packs but got 7 legendaries less then me. Despite the fact that none of us spent money on the packs
im happy ofc but i wont complain when next time i got the low roll like i allready had in the past
also the china part is just nothign to complain about. They dont design cards in funtion and keywords for the chinese market.
there was the assumption which blizz declined but i cant say if thats the true argument or not because of the artwork of some cards and that they maybe were changed because of the laws in the chinese market.
Well even if thats the chase, China is BY FAR the biggest market for Mobile devices. Not only do tehy want their game on this market but also as a bussines which is profit orientated they absolutly should. That is a huge amount of money they earn which they can use for the development for this and other games and to pay their developers which is also important
well and are you sure they blocked you because you tried to reveal the truth? i mean there are a ton of posts suggesting worse things on this and other forums so maybe you picked a bad wording to bring your Suggestions or Complaints to the surface
in this very post of yours you call them lousy game developers who drag their game down to trash world for not listening to you. one in a few millions and belive me youre not the only one who demands to be listend to.

Trust me this game is never fair even for older players. I play more than 4years and i still cant get higher than 17 rank this game is fkin BS unbalanced asf some cards need to get nerfed hard bcs they are just to strong. Heartstone requres literaly no skill only people who spent alot of money will win games
Hearthstone is a pay-to-win collectible card game, just as all other collectible card games are. There is no way to survive the meta with standard, free cards.
If you want to pay nothing, you practically have to play every day and get all the quests to be able to pay in-game gold for packs or Arena. If you’re good enough, and the game doesn’t crash on every other Arena game (as the situation is on older iPads for example), you’ll be able to grind the good new cards required to stay afloat in the meta.
The other choice is to simply pay up. Or not play.

Actually the game has 2 options.
Option #1 : Play the game normaly and advance (collect cards) slowly.
Option #2 : Pay money in order to advance (collect cards) faster.
It’s actually your choice which path to follow. The game is free for all, which means that the content is free to play. You dont need to pay money in order to have access to the game servers.
I’m exclusively free to play player and here is how i did it.
First of all i’ve spent a couple of months gathering gold from daily quests/wins etc. So when the new expansion came out (new expansion every 3 months) i’ve spent all my gold buying packs from that latest expansion only. I gathered most of the cards from that set and kept gathering gold for the next expansion to come.
When the new expansion came out i’ve spent all my gold on the new expansion and continued the same thing for a whole year. So after the rotation happened (oldest sets are rotating out on the first expansion of every year) i actually had most of the cards from all active expansions in standard mode. And from that point on i could actually craft any deck i wanted.
Of course i had a rule. Dust every single gold card i could (if i had the normal cards available ofc) in order to get dust. I banked dust during that year of progression and i ended up with over 14k dust after a year.
It was slow… it was painfull sometimes, but now i hover arround rank 5 to 1 knowing that i never paid a single penny on cards.
I basicly did the same as you with the exeption that i bought 2 adventures with money which i dont think ill do again but we will see.
I dont even dust the golden cards as long as i dont want to craft something
Also i had a good amount of the cards which hot hofed last year which got me about 13k dust so i admit i was lucky there
Also one way is to swirch to wild. Its cheap and fun until rank 5.
I was rank 12 max in standard and in wild i went from 13 to 4 in one season.
