At this point I am wondering why do I keep torturing myself with this sad joke of a game .
What even is the point of playing if you are always forced to play only one meta deck in order to climb the ranks .
Priests summoning the most ret.arded 5/5 card that copies itself each turn with 3 or 4 mana and even worse .
Warlocks having an 8/10 card at turn 4 or 5 just because they discard cards and ofc they had to buff that card to get +2+2 for each one instead of +1+1 like it was . I’ve been killed on turn 4 by a warlock just because he discarded a card that does 6 damage to the face and ofc they can copy that card at least 4 times cause why the f not .
Mechs over mechs over mechs , I’m starting to think someone at blizz has a robot fetish because they’ve milked them robots dry .
Warriors with 60 armor , getting as much attack as they get armor cause that seems fine .
Not to mention the druids , oooooh the druids . If you don’t kill them by turn 5 it’s over every game as they can draw their whole deck with 5 mana and play the whole deck with the same 5 mana and steal your deck on the same turn AND on the same turn that they drew and played 20+ cards they can kill you even if you’re full hp .
Do these devs even play the game that they are working on ?
I don’t think they do or if they are playing , these kids are probably stuck in silver and gold .
Wake tf up and fix your game.
Haven’t even mentioned half the broken stuff that favor other classes because some dev likes that class just like with the priest class that one devs seems to suck off .
Yes, the balance is ruined… thats for sure. Don’t take it seriously… it will be better for your health… It seems they want to make the ladder harder and harder to climb by keeping up this nonsense balance… But until I can find my fun by playing my own decks and not meta… I will play. It is really hard to defeat the meta now… They really should start to do something effective to fix the balance.
I already wrote it down on US forum because that one seems abandoned a little:
"Yes, but unfortunately these developers are making mistakes after mistakes… everyone can see that who played the game in the last few years.
1st They created Discovery, mana cheat and hand manipulation
2nd OTK cards showed up
3rd 40 card decks created and then weakened back for everyone except control
4th They made the aggro insanely fast and strong… and in opposite the 40 cards decks unlimited because they have a lot of board clear and discovery. Atleast Legendary minions should be removed from discovery pool because thats why they are Legendary… They are strong, can be used only once and decks can have only 1 of each… but these rules are broken too.
5th They started to create infinity by accident… and now they can’t make it stop because there are too many players who have too much free time and experiment them out more than Blizzard can. (If they are testing anything at all… because I am not sure about that either…)
6th They started to create a lot of randomity which can be controlled by the game even more easy.
What’s next? How can they make this game even worse and harder the ladder to climb? Because I think thats their goal… can’t think of any better reason for these decisions. But they should wake up really fast… They are killing the game and all the fun with these things in my opinion."
I came back to the game and it is sad. I cant win 1, yes 1 game in ranked with my old decks. any deck i face has control from turn 1. Whether its a rush deck or a control deck. old cards are totally obsolete.
Now keep in mind we are close to the months end and actual good players are legend already, or at least close. the people im fighting are supposed to be chaff with little time/skill/cards. Still these people beat me in the lowest tier exclusively. And I am someone who has actual decks and past ranked experience. New players probably get slaughtered and uninstall immidiately after trying the game a few times, that is why doomdecks inhabit even the lowest tiers of ranked.
Honestly if not for the new game modes I would have uninstalled too, the same day I reinstalled it.
Well, that would probably be the issue. You are playing with old decks.
I don’t know how long you have been away. But during that time, new expansions have come out. Expansions with new cards. And yes, those cards are generally a bit stronger than those in older expansions. They have to be, otherwise nobody would have reason to buy packs or craft cards, and that is how Blizzard makes money.
So yeah. Older decks are weaker decks, almost by definition.
