This weeks Tavern Brawl victory not counting towards overall wins

Normally wins in the Tavern Brawl count towards your total overall wins (not the 500 golden). I have won 2 Brawls this evening and both have not been added to my total wins?

Anyone else noticed this? Has blizzard changed something since the recent update?

the easiest way is to buff the gargoyle as much as you can and finish him with it.

beware of the AOE damage the boss inflicts at 160 health and 60 health. so the gargoyle, if you have him on board, needs to have at least 7 or 31 health respectively at those 2 points.

With an opponent who isnt a morron.

Me and my guy healed each other and in the end we both buffed his big guys for easy victory

That would be me yesterday, for a couple of turns.

I have now won 4 Brawls and none of the wins are counting towards my total wins.

Blizzard have you changed something or is it because this event is PvE?

I’d imagine because it’s PvE….you don’t kill the opposing player so it doesn’t count

Same. This brawl is pretty awesome. It is nice to play “with” instead of “againts” another player for a change.

There is also a minion, can’t remember what it’s called, that gains +1/+1 every time anybody plays a card. My and my teammate won by just buffing the hell out of that, once we got it to around 30 health and I used divine spirit on it to get its health to 60 we just focused on keeping that alive and It was a cakewalk

Im not sure if its a bug or not, but I did a tavern brawl yesterday that was going well until i felt sick. I went to be sick and my turn timer had expired, I was then unable to play a card as the turn timer was ending instantly. My opponent was emoting wow a lot, he can see me moving cards and I emoted wow back as well. Felt bad I bet he thought I was trolling him.

Now I can pretend it doesn’t exist :smile:

Thanks Rayven, did the same thing happen to you then? I was worried the loss not being counted might be an issue with my game/account.

It’s never counted for this tavern brawl, because of the way the game registers wins and the way this brawl works it doesn’t record it as a win

It’s strange because it counts towards quests, I had a priest quest to win 3 games and it counted towards that quest as one of the heroes is a priest but not the total wins. Makes sense though what you have explained.

I’m surprised it doesn’t count, because was about to say that I know in past it’s counted as quest wins. But honestly, never looked or seen anyone in the past bring it up so maybe it doesn’t count.

That said, it wouldn’t surprise me if it actually counts towards the hidden quest. I know that I got my 1000 wins earlier than the number suggested I should.

These kind of brawls have a slightly different ending animation.
If you are the one that kills nefarian then you will see your opponent explode after the victory message, but the animation wont be seen of you exploding if you aint killed deathwing.

the ending of the match is different for this kind of game since it involves killing a creature on board and somewhere not everything was taken into consideration with quests.
