To believe there are people still thinking matchmaking is not rigged in this game

Hi y’all,

Famous words before getting trash-talked by brainwashed boomers / zoomers who think like the titles says.

Just decided to write this with some frustration after my experience this evening. Here it goes.

I’ve always been a Mecha’thun Warlock player having fun, trollin’ in ranked, whatever you call it because I know the hate behind the card, lol, even though floating around 10hp to pull the combo isn’t as easy as some not so intelligent players might think. However today I’ve noticed something interesting and by which, no matter how much you’ll insist with your lame statistics (are you paid / sponsored to post them?) will change my mind:

After playing hundreds and hundreds of matches with 'Thun Warlock I’ve finally decided to switch to a Jade Druid deck to see how it goes, and man I wasn’t disappointed. In just 10 games I’ve played against decks I’ve never seen before, and trust me I’ve seen a lot of decks to the point where I just knew what it was the moment “VS” animation kicked it. I mean let’s be honest, Diamond 5 - Legend bracket, what is it when you see mage? Oh, let me guess, Quest Mage / Secret Mage? Maybe that lost in space 1% Reno Mage? WRONG, MY FRIEND! That was on Warlock. But now on Jade Druid I see Mage decks I’ve never seen before, Odd Hunters which aren’t even in Tier, I’m like mind-blown!

Now let’s hear you say it: "Na man, it’s just %, the people that played these decks logged off and now you’re playing against different decks (because of losing or w/e). Save it, lol. Yeah, I swapped decks and magically all the decks I’ve used to play against vanished. Hah!

And let’s kick you with the finisher, for the grand finale. In 100 games with Warlock, I think I came across one Priest that was using Skulking Geist and dropped it because he had nothing else to drop. Guess what? In 5 games straight with Jade Druid, 4 people were rolling SG, lol? Even the rogue! Coincidence? Of course you’ll say yes.

C’mon devs, like what’s the algorithm? If deck==Jade Idol then que Skulking Geist==true and so on for different combos? If deck==combo then que aggro==true? I’d really like to know.

Peace

The Matching making is broken to a degree in relation to the Rank your on at the time. Its more along the lines of how many people are at a certain rank and so higher ranked players are paired with lower rank players to fill the gaps in those ranks. Gold players vs Legend rank players is an example.

You clearly did not come here for an open and honest exchange of opinions.

Didn’t read past that sentence. What’s the point?

I mean if you read the line after the one you just quoted you will understand why, lol. And yes, if people just want to write among the lines of “Noooo, you can’t just say that the game is rigged, it’s not, decks go vroom vroom, percentages”, then they should keep it to themselves.
