How is it possible to get a golden minion on (battle)turn 2 of battlegrounds?
Seen it twice now where 2/1 Murloc Tidehunter was golden already on (battle)turn 2 along with either 1 or 2 murlocs from the battlecry and i’m struggling to see how without legit reasons
Turn 1 you get 3 gold and turn 2 gives 4 gold (7 gold total)
Selling a minion returns 1 gold for each minion sold
You need 9 gold for a golden minion but with 1 or 2 murlocs from the battlecry on the battlefield there is no way you can get that 9 gold on turn 2
Was the guy Millhouse by any chance? His minions cost 2 in the tavern so that might be how he got it.
Otherwise he must have sold the summoned murlocs summoned by the Tidehunter and gotten them 3 in a row (Either all at once or staggered between the two turns).
nah, it works. on turn 1 you buy a murloc tidehunter (which summons a 1/1 murloc).
on turn 2, you have 4 gold and buy another tidehunter (summons another 1/1). then you have 1 gold left, sell both 1/1s, so you got 3 gold and then buy another tidehunter.
you end up with a golden tidehunter and a 2/2 (summoned by the golden tidehunter) and whatever minion you got for free because of the golden tidehunter.
