Turn time abusers?

Some players just plays a card and waits untill the turn ends and they spam i thank you or something like that, The turn takes 2-3 second to play but they abusing the time and forcing us to leave the game. İts really shame

A guy just abused my game named Tieru at eu servers.

Blizzard should think about the turns, at turn one why would a player think about 30 seconds? plays no card? and spam i thank you? its reallistic? he did that every turn btw

Though I can’t deny that there are abusers, consider the fact that there many people facing disconnects.

Was playing with a friend for the 80g quest, I got a series of disconnects (game appeared as it was working properly on my end) and my friend thought I was constantly trolling him by “roping”.

Upon reconnect, any action that I had taken hadn’t registered, so I had to do them again.

If you indeed face abusers though, I don’t think there’s much you can do, as anyone has the right to “think” his strategy for the whole duration of the timer.

Also, roping can be considered as kind of strategy - “oh, I’m a degenerate, I’ll rope every turn until my opponent gets angry and concedes just to get away from me”. Thankfully, I don’t meet too many roppers these days.

You will encounter those people once in a while, but even they wont do this every match, he probally lost his previous match and nagging his next opponent.

If this happens you can concede and move on , if you need to win then try to adjust yourself by doing something else like alt tabbing into your browser or something.

It is funny when this happened to me, play my card then end turn and alt tab, in the end he was loosing and its own nagging purposes instead got to him :stuck_out_tongue:

Burning the fuse on a turn is frustrating, but it’s perfectly acceptable. It’s a tactic employed to frustrate opponents and frustrated opponents are more likely to make misplays. The best way to combat this is not to insist blizzard shorten the turns and not to come on the forums and complain about it, but to learn patience. So your opponent is wasting time? So what? doesn’t actually do any damage to you, the only damage done is by yourself allowing this tactic to mentally frustrate you. Just take a breath, calmly wait for your turn and take extra pleasure when you smash their face in :stuck_out_tongue:
