Unplayable Pay-to-win

Lots of cards they keep rotating from time to time you purchase a packs after few months you will be forced to purchase again because they going to rotate it. and it’s difficult to get legendary cards from 20 packs if you’re luck you can get maybe 2 lots of card that we cannot disenchant what to do? this game became super hard to play many cards and it’s very hard to get @@@

You can still use them in Wild mode.

Implock is the current top deck and is very cheap, running 1 legendary and 1 (X2) epics. If you do your daily/monthly quests you get easily enough packs to get every common/rare.

If your only goal is to win in ranked then it’s very easy to do for free, you just have to be smart with your crafting and be prepared to miss out on variety.

I didn’t pay for the game once in my life but I have been playing from the start. I have almost all the cards since the new way to earn gold was introduced. I get like 7000 gold every expansion + I dust cards I know I won’t use (as in they probably suck). That being said, I get very few legendaries in those 70-80 packs that I open each expansion. Maybe 3-4. In this expansion, I only managed to collect 2.3k gold so I only had like 30ish packs to. Got a only one legendary.

I think free to play is extremely possible if you play around 4-5 games a day (finish quests + a bit extra). If you play at least for the quests I think you’ll have enough gold for cca 60 packs every expansion. I play around 10 games a day.

It depends on what you expect from the game. If you want to play any and every deck in T1, then you have to pay for the game.

If you want to play casually with cheap decks (hunter, D-H stuff, now that stupid implock thing), I guess you can go for free.

If you are relatively new or not interested in playing wild i suggest disenchanting older epics and legendaries that aren’t commonly used. Frees up a lot of dust to have fun with current decks again.
Yeah yeah i know a lot of people will jump at me with “nEVer DiSEncHAnt lEGeNdArIEs” but if you’re f2p it’s just not worth it to sit on cards that might someday become viable in wild again.

1 Craft legendaries for 1 tier 1 deck
2 Rares and commons of the deck get nerfed and the 3000 to 6000 dust worth of legendaries you crafted are now useless.
3 Repeat step 1 until you have no dust left.

Literally what would happen if you did this. Also decks aren’t getting any cheaper, this “control Shaman”-deck costs 20K dust lmao, that’s more than I have after playing on and off for years.

Stop repeating these unchallenged statements made by pay2win players.

You are correct if you cherry pick the most expensive deck it is expensive.

If you play the current best deck, the total craft cost for anyone who does quests is 2400 if they were unlucky to miss on the 2 epics and 1 legend, which you will have and when it’s nerfed your probably get back even more if you did smart stuff like keep extra copies of the commons.

So unless your claim is you can’t win with ImpLock then it’s you repeating nonsense game is P2W.

“I can’t afford this really expensive deck that isn’t even the best deck, therefore P2W” is genuinely one of the dumbest arguments I’ve read.

Implock is an exception to the rule considering it only takes 1 legendary and there is absolutely no doubt on my mind that Blizzard, the ones trying to make money and motivate us to buy more packs, will nerf it soon.

Any other tier 1 deck since I came back to this game (like 9 months ago) has had 2 legendaries at least.

And currenlty the best deck is control shaman according to hsreplay, which is 20K. But the same can be said for pre-nerf Druid. Control warrior. Quest Priest. Beast hunter. They all have 4 legendaries or more in them.

There’s usually at least 1 cheap deck near the top of the meta.

If you look at Beast Hunter on HSReplay only 3 legendaries are core 1 or which is the free to everyone King Krush. Some People are playing the 40 card version (another free legendary) or adding extra legendaries but they’re effect on the decks wr is negligible overal.

Are you counting the deck that only has 230 games as your reason for Control Shaman being no.1? Out of the top 20 or so decks being played there’s a Quest Hunter top (64.1) Face Hunter (63), ImpLock (62.8) ahead of the best Control Shaman (62.6).

But even then the main ImpLock deck holding at 60.9% over 5 times as many games is easily the most impressive.
